Nap of the Day: Silver can strike gold at Ponte

No joy so far this week for Nap of the Day followers, but hopefully that's about to change on Thursday.
We go to Pontefract looking for a change in fortune, putting our faith in one of the hottest trainers around at the moment.

It feels as if William Haggas has been enjoying winner after winner for well over a month now - and he's showing no signs of letting up.
The Newmarket handler is operating at a 23% strike rate in the past fortnight, courtesy of 13 winners from 56 runners. His percentage for the season is 24% (124/516).
That bodes well for SILVER CHAMBER ahead of this 0-80 handicap over 1m4f at Pontefract on Thursday.
It's fair to say the three-year-old daughter of Sea The Moon and half-sister to Ebor and County Hurdle hero Absurde has been a slow burner for the team at Somerville Lodge.
The 90k guineas-buy fared encouragingly enough on her racecourse debut at Newmarket last November, but spent the next 175 days on the sidelines, reappearing at Haydock this April.
It was a modest effort on Merseyside, despite a good bit of support in the betting, as was the case at Lingfield the following month - but her handicap debut at Goodwood in June off an opening mark of 68 was more like it.
She finished fourth of 13 in West Sussex, just over two lengths behind relatively useful types in Bownder and Displaying.
The selection bumped into one, Naasma, at Windsor subsequently. She's won two of three starts in the meantime, rising eight pounds in the handicap.
Silver Chamber then opened her account at Ripon in July, beating a pair of equally well-handicapped rivals. The runner-up Say What You See has also won twice since, while the third-placed Gentle Warrior has bolted up twice in relatively quick succession at Haydock and Chester already this month. The handicapper has put him up to 78 from 70.
I suppose the selection's last-time-out defeat to one of Ed Walker's back at Windsor on the first day of the month was a little disappointing. He was sent off 7/4f and on the back of that run at Ripon, I expected her to do the business. However, it was the winner's first time in a handicap and time will tell if he was yet another holding secrets from the assessor.
A two-pound rise, to a career-high of 71, is a little harsh, I must admit, but I believe she's progressive enough that it doesn't really matter.
Yorkshire Lady and Percy's Daydream are solid in opposition on Thursday, but Silver Chamber is the one with the most scope and I'm firmly in her camp.
