Since returning to work after having a child, I've landed four winners from six selections for Nap of the Day followers.

Hopefully it will be another successful week, starting on Tuesday with a jumps fancy from Newton Abbot.

I expect LORD to stamp his authority over five rivals in the opener at Newton Abbot on Tuesday.

Olly Murphy's three-year-old carries a seven-pound penalty for a victory at Fontwell last month, but I don't envisage that being a problem in this company.

That triumph in West Sussex was the German recruit's fourth run under rules, having performed creditably on British debut at this very venue back in July.

He proved no match for Joseph O'Brien's unbeaten Dignam, winner of his subsequent two starts, that day, but he did finish a good four lengths in front of the reopposing Manyana Blue.

Odds of 4/9 says all you need to know about the quality of Lord's opposition at Fontwell - which included Genbu who also returns for another shot at the selection - but he could hardly have won any easier under jockey Sean Bowen, who retains the partnership on Tuesday.

I see absolutely no reason why we shouldn't confirm form with both of the aforementioned runners.

As for the other three, it's the debutant Yellow Card I'll be watching out for.

He represents Sean's brother, Mickey Bowen, having switched from Ollie Sangster's yard this summer. His career-high mark of 79 on the flat entitles him to be relatively useful in this sphere, so a market check is advised.

Pistrucci operated at a lower level on the flat and doesn't have as appealing a profile for jumping as far as I'm concerned - while Mancero has it all to do following a disappointing effort on his debut on these shores. He was a winner in France beforehand at least, but the penalty he received as a result may continue to prove a burden.

I'm assuming he'll be priced accordingly, but Lord should take the world of beating here.
