Amongst our Thursday fancies is one at Newbury for trainer George Boughey who returned to form last time out and who remains lightly raced over a mile. Check out our Horse Racing Tips below.

17:45 Southwell - Criminal @ 4/1
The Racing League heads to Southwell on Thursday for the final meeting of 2025 and CRIMINAL is one to keep on side in the opening 1m4f handicap.
The Sea The Moon gelding showed plenty of ability in a trio of qualifying runs, including on a tapeta surface at Wolverhampton behind subsequent Listed winner Nahraan and Listed-placed Cajole.
He advanced his form further on handicap debut last time out when stepped up to 1m4f, finishing second despite not getting the clearest of runs, behind Tenability who has since followed up from a 7lb higher mark.
He remains lightly raced after just four starts and won't be inconvenienced by the return to an artificial surface.

18:25 Newbury - North View @ 10/3
NORTH VIEW bounced back to form at last time and may be worth supporting to build on that at Newbury this evening.
The son of Expert Eye hadn't shown much this season since moving to George Boughey’s yard, but was much more like it at Kempton when finishing his race well into third behind a couple of progressive three-year-olds.
That was his first start over the 1m trip and he remains open to further improvement for these connections. He should be suited by a return to Newbury, the scene of his last win which came from just a 2lb lower mark.

18:15 Southwell - Kosometsuke @ 9/2
Roger Varian’s KOSOMETSUKE made a winning start to life in handicaps at Kempton in May in a race that threw up plenty of subsequent winners.
He has held his form well on a trio of starts on turf since, finishing second on every occasion, most recently at Ascot when clear of the remainder, just behind Flag Of St George who franked the form well when easily winning a Racing League event on his next start.
The return to an artificial surface will suit and he likely remains well handicapped despite continuing to rise in the weights.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
