Fulham Premier League Odds: Cottagers at risk of regression

It was another solid Premier League campaign for Fulham in 2024/25, as the Cottagers finished 11th, 29 points clear of the relegation zone. Head coach Marco Silva will be looking for his side to kick on in the new season and trouble the European spots, but there will be stiff competition once again.
Below are Betfred's Fulham Premier League Odds, accompanied by a discussion on their upcoming campaign and who is likely to be their main man.

- To Be Relegated @ 7/1
Prediction: 15th
Fulham only lost four of their first 20 Premier League games last season, but 10 losses in their final 18 proved to be their downfall as they tumbled out of the top 10. Turning just a few of those defeats into draws would've seen Silva's side finish ninth, but, remarkably, they didn't secure a single stalemate after a 2-2 with Ipswich Town on January 5.
The west Londoners have kept hold of their key players this summer, but it's been an extremely quiet window so far, with only veteran goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte signed to back up Bernd Leno between the sticks.
The positive is that Fulham are a well-settled side with a great manager, and signings aren't always the be-all and end-all - just look at Liverpool last season.
However, you can understand why some may suggest that the club are standing still, and could risk being dragged into the lower end of the table this term.
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin has been heavily linked with a move to Craven Cottage, and a signing or two like that could prove to be the difference.

Transfer Business:
In: Benjamin Lecomte (Montpellier).
Out: Carlos Vinicius (Gremio), Willian (free agent), Steven Benda (loan, Millwall), Luke Harris (loan, Oxford United).
Key Player: Alex Iwobi
Alex Iwobi enjoyed his most productive Premier League campaign to date in 2024/25, scoring nine goals and registering six assists.
The Arsenal Academy graduate had previously faced criticism for a lack of end product, but 15 goal contributions last season showed that he is improving with age.
With Fulham yet to make any attacking additions, the 29-year-old looks set to play a key role again for the Cottagers, who will be hoping he can at least emulate last season's statistics and play every game again.
Prediction: 15th
Even without further reinforcements, I'd back Fulham to have enough quality to stay ahead of the promoted sides (Burnley, Leeds United and Sunderland), but I do fear regression without fresh blood.
Silva will surely be growing impatient with the lack of signings, and you wonder whether the Portuguese boss will stay the course of the season, with interest in his services sure to be high.
