There are five UK and Irish race meetings to choose from on Tuesday and there are seven races to enjoy at Beverley.

I've taken a look at Tuesday's race card and picked out my three best bets of the day for you to consider. Read on to find out my Beverley Tips.

Beverley Tips - Tuesday, July 29

  • 14:10 Beverley - Blue Yonder @ 7/2
  • 17:10 Beverley - Brazilian Belle @ 2/1
  • 17:47 Beverley - Mayberry Moon @ 11/4

14:10 Beverley - Blue Yonder @ 7/2

The day's action kickstarts with this Class 6 handicap over 1m 2f and a stacked field is set to contest this one, with 16 runners declared. There are a few with decent claims on Tuesday but none more so than BLUE YONDER for Archie Watson's yard.

The five-year-old has triumphed on his past two starts over the same distance at Les Landes and more recently at Chepstow in June. Blue Yonder now has six victories over this trip, including a C&D triumph back in May 2023.

He's in good shape for his first visit here in almost two years and is bidding to complete a hat-trick, which on current form he is very capable of accomplishing. His two recent victories were preceded by some other positive runs, including second and third-place finishes at Lingfield and Newcastle (both AW) respectively.

17:10 Beverley - Brazilian Belle @ 2/1

For my second selection, I turn to a familiar face. The penultimate race of the day is a Class 5 handicap over 5f and nine runners have been declared for this one. The horse I am putting my faith in again is BRAZILIAN BELLE, who I backed for success at Musselburgh last week.

The three-year-old filly gave a good account of herself but fell just short, losing out to Jm Jhingree by a neck. This was preceded by a victory at Thirsk, so she is in great form at the minute for Michael Dods' yard.

She posted a second-place finish over C&D here earlier in the month and the ground conditions on Tuesday are set to be similar. She just missed out on back-to-back victories last week, so I am expecting her to be there or thereabouts.

17:10 Beverley - Winner Brazilian Belle

17:47 Beverley - Mayberry Moon @ 11/4

Just like the previous race, I am turning to a representative of Dods' yard, this time in the form of MAYBERRY MOON is the horse who catches my eye in the final race on the card, which is a Class 5 handicap over 7 1/2f.

There are 10 runners to contend with here but he heads here off the back of an impressive victory over 7f at Carlisle, winning clear by two lengths in his second handicap start. His first was an impressive second-place finish at Ayr, so clear progress has been made with this gelding and I think he still has much more to offer.
