Lingfield Park Tips: Dreams are for free

There are just the four UK and Irish race meetings heading our way on Tuesday and I am particularly drawn to the action taking place at Lingfield Park, where a seven-race card awaits.

Below you will find my three Lingfield Park Tips.

14:15 Lingfield Park - Bay Of Dreams @ 4/1

The first race of the day is this Class 5 handicap which has a stacked field of 11 runners contest over 1m 1f. There a few interesting candidates to consider for this trip, one of which is BAY OF DREAMS.

This three-year-old filly makes her first visit to Lingfield on Tuesday but she arrives here with decent claims, having posted form figures of 12312 in handicaps. There have been notable improvements from her previous two outings at Windsor (1m 2f) and Nottingham (1m 1/2f), which were both on good ground.

The same is expected at Lingfield which may just suit James Ferguson's runner. Bay Of Dreams looks like she still has more to give and I think there is value to be had in backing her here, even if it is just as an each-way selection.

16:15 Lingfield Park - Mighty Real @ 10/1

MIGHTY REAL has shown improvement since getting a tongue strap, with back-to-back third-place finishes at Leicester and Chepstow - both over 7f. This is the same trip contested in this Class 6 handicap at Lingfield on Tuesday, and we may be set to see more improvement from Hughie Morrison's runner.

The three-year-old gelding has been part of Morrison's yard since May, switching over from the charges of Jack Jones. There have been three rides since and we are starting to see real progress from him now, and there's a sense that his first career success may not be too far away.

Mighty Real needs to show that he has more to offer if he is to become a winner, but he does look well-equipped for this trip. Of course, this is a stacked field with 16 other horses, meaning there are others with strong claims, so I'd go about this one with an each-way selection for some insurance.

17:22 Lingfield Park - Blue Collar Lad @ 11/2

My tips conclude with the 17:22 race, and so does the card. There are 14 runners declared for this Class 6 handicap over 6f and one who arrives with strong claims is BLUE COLLAR LAD for Daniel Steele's yard.

The six-year-old gelding makes it three consecutive appearances at Lingfield on Tuesday, having contested two 7f trips here, posting a victory and a third-place finish. The success came first, with blinkers being used for the first time, and they are already looking to have a positive impact.

The drop back to 6f should be smooth for Blue Collar Lad, particularly as he will be reunited with Tyrese Cameron, who has been on board for the past two visits to this racecourse. The other aspect that may play into his hands is that he is adaptable for various weather conditions, with his triumph here last month coming on soft ground.
