Lucky 15 Tips: Galileo’s Compass can show his rivals the way

There’s a sizzling day of racing across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday with meetings at Catterick, Yarmouth, Fairyhouse, Kempton and Ffos Las.
Check out my Lucky 15 tips for Wednesday's action below, including Galileo's Compass, who can follow up last week’s impressive Windsor success at Yarmouth.
Lucky 15 Tips - Wednesday, July 9
- 15:50 Catterick - Medinilla @ 3/1
- 16:10 Yarmouth - Galileo's Compass @ 5/1
- 19:20 Kempton - Kingdom Of Stars @ 7/2
- 20:55 Kempton - Bold Suitor @ 9/4
*odds correct at time of publication
15:50 Catterick - Medinilla @ 3/1
Medinilla rates a progressive performer and Jack Channon’s charge can take the three-year-old handicap at 15:50.
The daughter of Rumble Inthejungle failed in her hattrick bid at Thirsk last month, but that was her second run back after a long break and she may be better judged on her efforts when winning at Ripon and Wolverhampton.
Either way, this Catterick contest represents a slight drop in grade and the fact Medinilla was sent off favourite at Thirsk suggests connections believe there is still more to come, and a mark of 72 is within the three-year-old’s range
16:10 Yarmouth - Galileo's Compass @ 5/1
Galileo's Compass pulled off a 40/1 shock when winning impressively at Windsor last week and a five-pound penalty is unlikely to stop Mark Hoad’s runner from scoring in the mile handicap at 16:10.
The five-year-old appeared well suited by the drop to the mile trip when winning impressively on good-to-firm ground at Windsor and that performance left the impression that the gelding would be open to further progress at the new distance.
Useful seven-pound claiming Ashley Lewis is back on board at Yarmouth, and while 40/1 may be a thing of the past, Galileo's Compass should find his way home in front.
19:20 Kempton - Kingdom Of Stars @ 7/2
Kingdom Of Stars can gain a first career success on his seventh start in the 19:20 at Kempton. Tom Ward’s runner was beaten a nose in second at Chelmsford last time out, where the four-year-old hit the front, but was headed on the post.
That Essex effort was a decent performance and Kingdom Of Stars had previously finished a good second at Kempton.
Those runs suggested that Ward’s charge wouldn’t be long in getting his head in front and Colin Keane can steer the four-year-old to success at Kempton.
20:55 Kempton - Bold Suitor @ 9/4
The form figures of Bold Suitor’s last 12 starts read 1, 2, 3, 2, 4, 2, 1, 2, 3, 2, 2, 1 with the latest of those efforts a seriously impressive five-length success at Wolverhampton.
Craig Benton’s charge has to defy a rise in the weights and moves into 0-65 company at Kempton this evening, but the eight-year-old is a fantastically consistent all-weather performer and it would be no surprise if Bold Suitor follows up.
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £408.56 for your total £7.50 stake.
