The Brazilian outfit have caught the eye in the USA so far, and they are a force Bayern simply cannot afford to underestimate.

I think there is the potential for a huge upset here because there have been times throughout the season when we have seen Bayern blow hot and cold. They are up against a Flamengo side who know exactly what they are doing, and who can cause more than enough problems against a depleted defence that has looked shaky throughout the campaign.

The Brazilian side qualified to this stage with a game to spare and they have already bested one European side in Chelsea, who they dismantled 3-1. Bayern certainly have the manpower to face this threat but they are at the end of a very long season, whereas Flamengo's campaign only started earlier in the year. So there is the chance that they will be fresher than Die Roten, which could play a huge role in the outcome of this last-16 battle.

Luis Filipe and his players have been executing their game plans to perfection but Bayern is going to be their toughest test to date. But given how the CWC has gone for them so far, we are likely to see another special plan in action from the Rubro-Negro.

Brazilian sides stunning European heavyweights has been a common theme in America thus far, so I can see Flamengo triumphing over Bayern. But considering the resources the German outfit have at their disposal, I would also recommend covering the draw in the double chance market for insurance.

I think goals could be in store here as both sides have demonstrated their attacking quality at the Club World Cup so far. Bayern have scored 12 goals already but 10 of them did come against Auckland City on matchday one.

And as I have already mentioned, Flamengo fired three past Chelsea, and Bayern's defence has been questionable for quite some time due to injuries and various other reasons.

I believe over 2.5 goals is a market worth considering on Sunday because this has been a winning selection in three of Bayern's previous four appearances in all competitions. There have also been at least three goals scored in two of Flamengo's last four fixtures.

Bayern's array of attacking talent has played into my thinking here as well as the fact that we have now reached the knockout stage. The two teams no longer have games to fall back on - they need to be at their best on the day.
