Wydad Casablanca vs Al Ain Bet Builder Tips: Shots to be fired in 15/2 four-fold

As expected, Juventus and Manchester City have swept up in Group G of the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup, both qualifying for the last 16 ahead of their meeting in Orlando on Thursday. At the same time (02:00 BST, DAZN), Wydad Casablanca and Al Ain, both without a point to their name after two rounds of fixtures, face off at Audi Field.
Below are my Wydad Casablanca vs Al Ain Bet Builder Tips as I serve up a 15/2 four-fold for this bottom-of-the-table clash in Washington, DC.
Wydad Casablanca vs Al Ain Bet Builder Tips
- Both Teams to Score - Yes
- Total Shots - Over 26.5
- Facundo Gabriel Zabala (AIN) Total Shots - 2+
- Thembinkosi Lorch (WAC) Total Shots on Target - 1+

Both Teams to Score - Yes
These two teams have scored just one goal between them after two rounds of fixtures, with Wydad netting once, last time out against Juventus, and Al Ain blanking in back-to-back defeats.
Still, both sides will be confident of appearing on the scoresheet on Thursday after getting Juventus and Manchester City out of the way.
There's pride to play for, as well as a third-place finish, but I'm still expecting an open contest at Audi Field, with Wydad and Al Ain looking to make their mark on this competition before exiting it.
Wydad in particular should be in a relatively confident mood ahead of this encounter, having only lost 2-0 to Man City, and making a game of it for a while against Juventus, whom they scored past through Thembinkosi Lorch.
Al Ain, on the other hand, were stuffed twice in the space of five days by Juventus (0-5) and Man City (0-6), but possess a few forwards, Soufiane Rahimi, Kodjo Laba and Kaku, who can score and create goals with regularity against less illustrious opposition, and they will fancy their chances of getting at the Wydad back line in Washingston.
Total Shots - Over 26.5
This line landed in Wydad's first game against Man City as they recorded 12 efforts to the English outfit's 15, while their match with Juventus fell just three shots short as they registered 15 attempts to the Italians' nine.
Al Ain's defeat to the Old Lady counted 25 shots (nine for Al Ain, 16 for Juventus), and there was one more in their loss to Man City (21 for the Citizens, five for the Zaeem).
Wydad Casablanca vs Al Ain Odds
This selection ties into my first pick, as I believe we will witness an entertaining contest between these two teams, who will be desperate to give their supporters something to shout about.
Al Ain's first two fixtures fell just short of 27, while over 26.5 landed in Wydad's first and wasn't far off in their second, so with both sides now facing off, I'm confident we will meet this minimum target.
Wydad Casablanca vs Al Ain Bet Builder Stats
- BTTS-Yes landed in Wydad's last game (4-1 defeat to Juventus)
- Wydad's 2-0 defeat to Man City saw 27 shots taken
- Facundo Zabala (AIN) shot twice in Al Ain's 5-0 defeat to Juventus
- Thembinkosi Lorch (WAC) has registered three shots on target across two CWC matches
Facundo Gabriel Zabala (AIN) Total Shots - 2+
Argentine left-back Facundo Zabala, on loan from Paraguayan Primera Division club Olimpia, made his Al Ain debut in their Club World Cup opener against Juventus last Thursday and saw a right-footed effort saved in the 10th minute, before trying his luck with his left foot in the 49th minute, with that strike proving less successful as it didn't test Michele Di Gregorio in the Old Lady's net.
The 26-year-old was unable to replicate his shooting statistics in the following game as he struggled to get near City's goal before departing for Erik in the 62nd minute.
Zabala's substitution in that match may have been to protect him following his yellow card in the 25th minute, so I'm hopeful he will start a third consecutive game on Thursday.
With Al Ain deploying a three-man back line, Zabala was able to get forward to decent effect against Juventus, recording a couple of shots, and he should be afforded more opportunities against Wydad.
He's certainly a player who likes to try his luck, averaging 1.5 shots per game in the 2025 Copa Libertadores and recording 2+ in half (three) of his six competition appearances for Olimpia, while in the Apertura last year, he was averaging 1.2 shots per game.
Wydad conceded three shots to Juve's wing-backs on Sunday, with Alberto Costa on the right taking aim twice, and Andrea Cambiaso on the left hitting the post with his only effort.
Thembinkosi Lorch (WAC) Total Shots on Target - 1+
I'm ending this Bet Builder with at least one shot on target for Wydad winger Lorch, who has scored their only goal of the tournament so far.
The 31-year-old has been responsible for 25.9% (seven) of Wydad's 27-shot tally in the USA, recording three efforts against Man City and four against Juventus.
The nine-cap South Africa international, on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns in his homeland, has registered three shots on target, forcing a save apiece from Man City's Ederson Moraes and Juventus' Di Gregorio, and also scoring against the latter.
Against an Al Ain side that has shipped 11 goals across their first two games, I'm confident Lorch can make it three straight matches with a shot on target.
