Football Accumulator Tips: 11/1 acca for Wednesday’s action

There are four Club World Cup matches taking place across Wednesday evening and into the early hours of Thursday morning with plenty to play for in terms of qualification for the knockout stages.

Only a point separates Fluminense, Borussia Dortmund and Mamelodi Sundowns in Group F, while Inter Milan, River Plate and Monterrey are battling it out in Group E. Below you can find my Football Accumulator Tips for the midweek action.

Ulsan HD or draw double chance vs Borussia Dortmund 16/5

Borussia Dortmund will fancy their chances of beating the already-eliminated Ulsan HD to clinch qualification to the knockout stage of the Club World Cup, but Die Borussen have been far from impressive in the United States.

Niko Kovac’s side lost the shot count 14-7 in their opening 0-0 draw with Fluminense and the Germans were clearly second-best in that tie.

Last time out, Dortmund got the better of Mamelodi Sundowns 4-3, but once again they lost the shot tally 16-8 and the expected goal totals finished 2.74 to 1.72 in favour of the South African side.

Ulsan HD are the weakest team in the section, but the Tigers may not be as poor as the prices suggest.

Both teams to score in Mamelodi Sundowns vs Fluminens

Mamelodi Sundowns will have to beat Fluminense to secure a top-two finish in Group F and the Stylish Guys are fresh from being edged out in a 4-3 thriller by Borussia Dortmund.

The South Africans won’t need a second invitation to go forward and Miguel Cardoso’s men have shown enough quality to score four goals in their opening two Club World Cup matches.

Whether Sundowns have enough defensive solidity to keep Fluminense at bay is another question and it looks unlikely given the qualification situation in Group F.

The Brazilians hit 25 shots and four goals in a 4-2 success over Ulsan HD last time out and backing both teams to score in Miami looks the play.

Monterrey to beat Urawa Red Diamonds 5/6

Monterrey take on Urawa Red Diamonds at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and the Mexican side know that three points are a must.

At the same time, Urawa Red Diamonds know their run in this competition will end at the group stage and it’s not hard to think peak motivation may have left Maciej Skorza’s men.

Monterrey have been solid in matches against Inter and River Plate and they should be able to pick the Reds off.
