Flat racing holds sway across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, with six meetings taking place across the afternoon and into the evening.

First off is Worcester before they go at Carlisle, Salisbury, Naas, Kempton Park and Bath.

Amongst our fancies is one for trainer Karl Burke, who is having a stellar season with his two-year-olds and has another debutant winner who can follow up at Carlisle. Check out our horse racing tips below...

14:45 Carlisle - Reciprocated @ 13/8

Karl Burke is by far the best trainer in Britain when it comes to landing two-year-old winners and he could have another smashing one on his hands in the form of RECIPROCATED, who impressed at the first time of asking.

The 450,000gns yearling is a brother to 6f winner Radio Goo Goo, who had an RPR of 96, while his dam was a 6f juvenile winner and won a 7f Listed contest.

Despite being weak in the betting, Reciprocated really impressed on his debut over 6f at Nottingham three weeks ago. He's Group 1-entered and although he has a penalty to shoulder here, he still should be up to the job.

15:15 Carlisle - Epidavros @ 17/2

Moving onto the following 1m handicap at Carlisle which is a wide-open contest and genuinely a case can be made for the majority of the field. However, a chance is taken on EPIDAVROS to make amends for her unlucky defeat last time out.

The filly traded very low on the exchanges when runner-up at Hamilton over 1m1f 10 days ago. It was a race she really ought to have won and her lack of battling qualities were evident on the day, but this drop back in trip will really suit her.

She can race quite keenly but she's a course and distance winner, with that win coming in September last year off 5lb lower, but she's only 1lb above her last winning mark. This looks like a great opportunity for the filly to claim the spoils.

15:45 Carlisle - Anshoda @ 15/2

The feature Listed Eternal Stakes over just shy of 7f is the scene of our final bet of the day at Carlisle and that runner is the David Loughnane-trained ANSHODA, who will be partnered with David Egan for the first time.

The filly was by no means an expensive purchase, but she had a stellar two-year-old campaign, winning a 7f Lingfield maiden on debut before finishing second in Listed grade at Sandown. She then won a 7f Group 3 at Goodwood in August.

She has struggled since and needs to bounce back, disappointing in Group 1 and 2 company between Doncaster, Del Mar and Dusseldorf, all over 1m.

Nonetheless, she looked in need of the run in Germany on latest start and if she is anywhere near her best, dropping in grade, she should take some beating in this.

15:45 Carlisle - Winner Anshoda
