Horse Racing Tips: El Matador up for the fight at Chepstow

Flat and jumps racing is scheduled in the UK and Ireland on Friday, with eight meetings taking place across the afternoon and into the evening.
Among my Friday horse racing tips is a well-bred filly for Ralph Beckett, who should have a lot more to offer as a three-year-old.

14:55 Chepstow - Berezka @ 13/2
Harry Charlton’s Nathaniel filly ran in a hot race on debut at Ascot at the start of May and acquitted herself well to finish fourth.
BEREZKA was weak in the market that day but still showed a good level of ability, beaten by just over three lengths.
The form has since been boosted by the Godolphin-trained runner-up, Spirited Style, who won comfortably on her next start.
This looks like another competitive contest, but Berezka - a half-sister to Listed winner Acanella and also related to Flintshire and the great Enable - is bred to improve and should take a step forward on her second outing.

16:25 Chepstow - El Matador @ 8/11
EL MATADOR was well backed on debut at Nottingham, going off as odds-on favourite, but could only manage second behind Falconer on soft ground. That said, he showed plenty of ability, as the pair pulled well clear of the remainder.
Ralph Beckett’s son of Lope De Vega went off as odds-on favourite again on his second and most recent start. He was slowly away and made to work hard by the runner-up, Sea Baaeed.
El Matador appeared to enjoy the quicker ground though and proved too strong as the pair drew clear of the other two runners.
The half-brother to Snazzy Jazzy is still learning on the job and is expected to improve again. With the benefit of a 7lb allowance, he should be right in the mix.

19:50 Haydock - Participle @ 1/1
PARTICIPLE caught the eye on debut, running a cracking race to finish second in what looked a strong contest on paper. Unfortunately, her inexperience showed as she jinked left late on and just missed out.
The form of that race has since worked out well with the winner, Qilin Queen, now rated 98 and recently having won a Listed Fillies' Stakes at Newbury.
Participle returns to the track for the first time in 288 days and faces some promising fillies who already have a run under their belts.
However, she is closely related to high-class performers such as Kingman and Oasis Dream, and is a half-sister to Macduff. She looks to be an above-average filly with plenty of potential.
