Saturday Football Accumulator Tips: 8/1 weekend fourfold

It’s round 33 of the Premiership season as the highest level of Scottish football races towards a grandstand finish. We’re fast approaching the split when the division divides into top and bottom six. The aim for three teams is another money-spinning game against the Old Firm this spring, but there’s still all to play for across the board.
Most of this weekend’s games happen on Saturday before Aberdeen host Rangers and Hibs welcome Dundee on Sunday. Betfred’s Frank Monkhouse has guided followers towards memorable wins and sizeable profits this season. He now sets his sights on boosting your balance with a weekend Premiership fourfold.

Dundee United beat St Johnstone @ 5/6
We open the show at Tannadice, where fifth-placed Dundee United host bottom club St Johnstone.
The locals enter on the back of an impressive run, winning each of their previous two starts and losing only one of their last six games. The Tangerines collected six points from a possible six, thanks to hard-fought wins over Ross County in Dingwall and Hearts in the capital. A top-six finish is guaranteed, leaving Dundee United to push for third place.
St Johnstone travel from Perth to Dundee stuck to the bottom of the Premiership, but the Saints aren’t giving up without a fight. They’ve won two and drawn two of their last four, beating Celtic last weekend. The Saints arrive in great shape and confident they can beat the drop, but the locals have ambitions of their own, and they’re good enough to secure a 14th win of the season.
Hearts beat Motherwell @ 9/10
Moving to Fir Park, we oppose the home team with a Hearts side that must win.
The Jambos recovered from a dreadful start to the season and are now in the mix for a top-six finish. Ending in the prize places would’ve been unthinkable just a few months ago.
A turnaround in fortunes pushed Hearts up the table and into sixth, but they can’t relax and congratulate each other on their efforts. Hearts have St Mirren and Motherwell just one point behind. Lose, and they’ll likely drop out of the top six. Win, and they’ll save their season.
Motherwell lost their manager earlier in the season and saw a strong start to the season unravel in winter. The Steelmen will enjoy the backing of a loyal home support on Saturday, but they’ve lost each of their previous two and have collected only one of the last nine points available.
Back Hearts to condemn Motherwell to the bottom six.
St Mirren beat Ross County @ 7/10
St Mirren are involved in a three-way battle with Hearts and Motherwell for sixth place, meaning they must defeat lowly Ross County in Paisley on Saturday afternoon.
The Saints hammered Kilmarnock 5-1 when last at home but stumbled to an almost unforgivable defeat at Dens Park in their opening game of the month. The locals lack consistency, but Saturday has a cup final feel about it, and I expect St Mirren to rise to the occasion.
Ross County make the long trip to Paisley with only two teams beneath them in the pecking order: Dundee and St Johnstone. The Staggies have won only nine of their previous 32 starts, scoring 31 goals but conceding 53.
They’re on a three-game losing stretch and have won three of 15 points available. St Mirren are determined to battle for sixth, while Ross County are looking sorry for themselves.
Hibernian beat Dundee @ 4/7
Hopefully by the time Hibs welcome Dundee to Easter Road on Sunday afternoon, we’re waiting on a winner. The team from the capital enjoy excellent form, climbing from the bottom of the Premiership into third place.
The Hibees scored a rare win over Rangers at Ibrox last weekend and also enjoy recent victories over St Johnstone and Hearts. Five wins and a draw in their six most recent games make a home win easy to trust.
Dundee enjoy a day out in Scotland’s beautiful capital city, but their fans will have little to cheer at Easter Road. Dundee won last time but are stuck in the relegation zone with time running out.
The Dee drew 2-2 here earlier in the season, needing a late equaliser to snatch a share of the spoils. Hibs are at home, sit eight places higher on the ladder and chase three wins on the bounce. We’re happy to trust David Gray’s men.
