Football Bet of the Day: Saturday’s pick comes from Der Klassiker

There's a plethora of football action taking place this weekend from the Premier League to La Liga to the Scottish Premiership, but I've turned my attention to a cracking Bundesliga tie for Saturday's Football Bet of the Day.
Bayern Munich welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening (17:30, live on Sky Sports Football) after both teams lost their respective Champions League quarter-final first legs this week.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund Odds
Der Klassiker rarely disappoints and Saturday's clash between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund should be a cracker.
The hosts currently sit top of the Bundesliga on 68 points, following their 3-1 triumph over Augsburg on April 4, and they've now opened up a six-point gap over second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
However, the Bavarians suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Inter Milan in their Champions League quarter-final first leg, and Vincent Kompany will be eager to see a response from his side here.
However, it's the visitors that will have the European mountain to climb next week, after Dortmund suffered a 4-0 thumping against Barcelona in their respective Champions League quarter-final, and their qualification hopes for next season's competition remain in the balance.
Niko Kovac's side are currently in eighth-place in the standings, however, they are only five points adrift of Mainz 05, who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund Stats
- Bayern Munich have only lost of their last 14 games in the Bundesliga
- Despite Dortmund's 4-0 defeat to Barcelona on Wednesday, they've won three of their last five games across all competitions
In the past Der Klassiker has tended to produce extreme results, with eight of the last 10 head-to-heads featuring at least four goals, and with neither side wanting to drop points as we approach the final few games of the season, I'm anticipating another goal-fest on Saturday evening.
The hosts will be missing creative spark Jamal Musiala, but there's still plenty of firepower within the team with Harry Kane leading the line, and Thomas Muller preparing for his final appearance in this fixture.
In fact, Bayern have scored three or more goals in eight of their last 12 in the Bundesliga, and their tally of 81 strikes is at least 18 more than any other side in the German top-flight.
As mentioned above, it has been an underwhelming season for the visitors domestically, but they still carry an offensive threat scoring seven goals across their previous two league games prior to the aforementioned defeat to Barca.
There's also an added motivation for Dortmund to stop their arch rivals winning the league, however, I believe the hosts will have too much quality for a vulnerable BVB outfit.
