Tottenham Hotspur will host AFC Bournemouth at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon (14:00, live on Sky Sports Main Event), hoping to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to AZ Alkmaar in midweek.

Meanwhile the Cherries are riding high after advancing to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup last weekend. Read on for my Tottenham vs Bournemouth prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

Spurs suffered a huge blow in the defeat to AZ on Thursday night, as Dominic Solanke was substituted after just 20 minutes, after a taking a heavy knock. Ange Postecoglou stressed that the issue was nothing serious so Solanke could line up against his former side on Sunday.

Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero could be handed starts after making the bench in the Netherlands, while the likes of Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Radu Dragusin remain absent.

As for the visitors, Ilya Zabarnyi will serve the final game of his suspension here, joining the likes of Enes Unal, Marcos Senesi, Julian Araujo and Adam Smith on the sidelines.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth Odds

Spurs are 7/4 to claim all three points, giving them an implied win probability of 36.4%, while the draw can be backed at 11/4 and a Cherries win is priced up at 7/5.

Evanilson leads the anytime goalscorer market at 6/4, followed by Cherries teammate Daniel Jebbison at 8/5.

Bournemouth to win @ 7/5

I think the Cherries can add to Spurs' Europa League woes on Sunday. The hosts head into the weekend sitting 13th in the table, and their troubles are well-documented.

Postecoglou's side haven't matched up well against the better sides in the division this term, losing 10 of their 11 clashes with the top eight - and that includes five defeats on home turf.

Bournemouth have won on six occasions this season, and have the advantage of having over a week to prepare for this clash, while Spurs could suffer from a European hangover.

The Cherries were also completely dominant in their 1-0 win against Spurs in December, and in all honesty should have scored more than once. I'm backing the visitors to win and do the double over Postecoglou's men here.

Justin Kluivert to score anytime @ 8/5

Bournemouth midfielder Justin Kluivert is enjoying a fine season and has a career-best 17 goal contributions this season, with nine of those coming in his last seven games.

The Dutch maestro will be hoping to take advantage of a lackluster Spurs unit, and add to his tally here. Only league leaders Liverpool have scored more goals than Postecoglu’s men this season but their poor defence has been their undoing.

Goals are to be expected here and I fancy Kluivert to get on the scoresheet anytime.
