Team News

Graham Potter may hand a West Ham debut to Evan Ferguson, the deadline-day signing on loan from his former club Brighton, as fellow strikers Niclas Fullkrug (thigh) and Michail Antonio (leg) are still absent.

Crysencio Summerville (hamstring) is also set to sit this out for the hosts, though the trio of Lucas Paqueta, Edson Alvarez and Jean-Clair Todibo are in contention to return.

Thomas Frank is set to be without the services of Aaron Hickey (thigh), Igor Thiago (knee), Gustavo Nunes (back), Rico Henry (thigh) and Josh Dasilva (knee), while first-choice goalkeeper Mark Flekken will be assessed after missing the home loss to Spurs.

West Ham vs Brentford Odds

A tough London derby to assess, with two teams struggling for wins. West Ham are 6/4 to make home advantage count, while Brentford are 9/5 to earn all three points. The draw is a 13/5 chance.

Over 3.5 goals in this contest is priced at 6/4 while a draw in which both teams find the net is 3/1.

Correct Score 2-2 @ 10/1

Ahead of this round of games, only basement boys Southampton have conceded more home goals than West Ham (26), while Brentford's 24 games have seen a whopping 84 goals, a combined tally bettered only by Wolves (86) and Tottenham (85). Goals look set to flow in this contest.

When they met at the Gtech Stadium in September, Brentford led inside 60 seconds.

West Ham haven't achieved a Premier League shutout in their last six attempts here, while the Bees are proving quite the entertainers on the road with over 2.5 goals in their last 10 league trips.

Brentford have managed just two wins in their previous 11 games, while West Ham have achieved just one win in seven in all competitions. These sides - who drew the reverse fixture at the Gtech - may play out another entertaining draw.

West Ham vs Brentford - Correct Score Draw 2-2

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Bet Builder - Over 3.5 Goals & Bryan Mbeumo 2+ shots on target @ 9/2

Bryan Mbeumo has scored four times in six Premier League appearances against the Hammers and the Brentford forward needed less than a minute to find the net when the sides clashed in September.

His next shot will be his 50th of this Premier League season and he should get some opportunities to work the goalkeeper. He can have multiple shots on target.

The two Premier League meetings between these clubs last season produced a combined 11 goals, six of them when they tussled at the London Stadium. No Premier League side this season has witnessed more games in which over 3.5 goals have been scored than Brentford.

Both defences are questionable, so backing over 3.5 goals can put some value on this selection.
