There are some cracking football matches heading our way on Saturday and the most notable one comes from the Premier League's evening kick-off between Manchester City and Chelsea. It should be an interesting game but one that I am avoiding for my football accumulator, that's for sure.

I have picked a few other Premier League games, however, for this week's edition, along with a couple from the Championship. Below you will find my football accumulator tips, which pays out at 9/1.

Football Accumulator Tips - Saturday, January 25

Liverpool to beat Ipswich Town (H) @ 1/10

This football acca kicks off with what I deem to be a banker from this five-fold. Premier League leaders Liverpool host struggling Ipswich Town at Anfield on Saturday, having lost just once all season.

The Reds have won four of their last six in the top flight, while Ipswich head to Merseyside off the back of two defeats in a row. The Tractor Boys failed to score in those losses against Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City, with both coming on home soil.

They were left humiliated last Sunday as City fired six goals past them. I think they will still be reeling from that at Anfield, which can play into Liverpool's hands.

Arsenal to beat Wolves (A) @ 4/9

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in freefall after losing their last three matches in the top flight. Star man Matheus Cunha is being linked with a move away after his verbal agreement to sign a new contract is nowhere near close to being sealed on paper, while former captain Mario Lemina has been left out of recent squads because he is contemplating a transfer of his own this month.

The Old Gold are in crisis and things could get worse when Arsenal head to Molineux on Saturday. The Gunners threw away a two-goal lead against Aston Villa at the Emirates last week, but a 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in midweek has set them up nicely ahead of their trip to the West Midlands.

Arsenal have won four of their last six outings in the top flight and they have scored the most goals (10) from set-pieces, while Wolves have conceded the most from such situations (17). The visitors should have more than enough to beat the team who have shipped the most goals (51) in the division.

Newcastle United to beat Southampton (A) @ 2/5

Newcastle United were stunned by AFC Bournemouth on home soil last Saturday, as they were beaten 4-1 by the Cherries. This defeat ended their nine-game winning streak in all competitions and I suspect they will be back with a vengeance this weekend as they head to strugglers Southampton, who have won just once all season.

The Saints have lost five on the bounce in the league and remain rooted to the bottom of the table. Ivan Juric is struggling to turn his side's fortunes around, and I can't see them improving them against a Newcastle side that have been one of the form teams in the country over the past couple of months.

I'm expecting the Magpies to respond in style at St Mary's, and there could be a few goals on offer to them.

Oxford United to beat Stoke City (A) @ 11/4

Down in the Championship now, where I have Oxford United to beat Stoke City away from home. The U's are unbeaten in Gary Rowett's first seven league games in charge since taking over from Des Buckingham just before Christmas, and five of them have been victories.

Only one has come on the road (his former club Millwall), and I think they have a great opportunity to land a second at Stoke. The Potters are still adapting to life under their own new boss, Mark Robins, who has taken two points from his first three games in charge.

They suffered a 3-1 defeat at Portsmouth on Wednesday, which has likely shaken their confidence, and they are coming up against one of the form teams in the division.

Sunderland to beat Plymouth Argyle (H) @ 1/4

This acca is rounded off at the Stadium of Light, where I am expecting promotion-chasing Sunderland to beat bottom side Plymouth Agyle. The Pilgrims head to Wearside off the back of two home defeats, the latest a 5-0 humiliation against Sunderland's promotion rivals Burnley.

The Black Cats will look for a similar result here to keep their impressive home form up. Regis Le Bris' men have won four of their last five league games at the Stadium of Light, and I'm confident that they will be able to breeze back this wailing Plymouth side.

The visitors are far too easy to score against with 60 goals conceded already this campaign. Sunderland need to ensure they are keeping up with the likes of Burnley, Leeds United and Sheffield United, so I am expecting a statement victory from them.
