Norwich City vs Swansea City Prediction: Home comforts can help Canaries soar again

Norwich City will look to get their promotion bid back on track on Saturday when they entertain Swansea City at Carrow Road in the Championship. The lunchtime kick-off, which will be shown live at 12:30pm on Sky Sports+, will give both teams the chance to respond from midweek defeats.
Norwich fell to a 2-0 defeat to Leeds United at Elland Road, while Swansea also came up short against a promotion challenger, losing 2-1 to Sheffield United at home. Read on for my Norwich City vs Swansea City prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Team News
Norwich are still without Borja Sainz, the Championship's top scorer, as he is suspended after spitting at Sunderland's Chris Mepham in December's 2-1 defeat at the Stadium of Light.
Canaries coach Johannes Hoff Thorup is also without Gabe Forsyth, Liam Gibbs, Christian Fassnacht and Anis Ben Slimane due to injury.
Swansea coach Luke Williams cannot call upon the services of Kristian Pedersen and Josh Ginnelly, with the duo sidelined until February, while Oliver Cooper is also out with a broken foot.
Harry Darling is suspended after Swansea's appeal for his red card against Sheffield United was turned down.
Norwich City vs Swansea City Odds
Only two points separate the two teams in the Championship table and Norwich are 11/10 to secure the win after three consecutive defeats in all competitions. The draw is 23/10, while Swansea are priced at 13/5 to win in East Anglia.
Those who fancy a high-scoring game can back over 2.5 goals at 10/11, while both teams to score is available at 8/11.
Canaries striker Josh Sargent is hoping to start and he is the 13/8 favourite to score anytime.
Norwich to win @ 11/10
Norwich's recent form is far from ideal, with the Canaries failing to score in their last three games in all competitions.
However, one of those defeats came against Premier League Brighton in the FA Cup, while their last two league games have come against promotion-chasing duo Sheffield United and Leeds.
Norwich have won six of their 13 games at home and they should be able to squeeze past a Swansea side who are winless in five matches, losing four times in that run.

Under 2.5 goals @ 10/11
With Sainz still banned, Norwich are lacking the creative spark which pushed them towards the playoffs in the first half of the season.
At this stage of the campaign, Norwich would be delighted with a narrow win and that is a likely outcome given Swansea's form.
The Welsh outfit have failed to net in their last three games on the road, despite two of those matches coming against relegation rivals Portsmouth and Cardiff City, suggesting a low-scoring encounter is likely to play out at Carrow Road.
