Manchester City vs Feyenoord Prediction: BTTS at the Etihad

For the first time since 2006, Manchester City have lost five games in a row. The international break didn't appear to come at the right time for Pep Guardiola's side as they were thumped 4-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday.
They welcome Feyenoord to the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League on Tuesday (20:00, Prime Video) hoping to turn their fortunes around. They were beaten on their last outing in this competition - a 3-1 home defeat against RB Salzburg - but they were 3-0 winners against Heerenveen in the Eredivisie over the weekend. Read on for my Manchester City vs Feyenoord prediction, including the latest match odds and team news.
Manchester City vs Feyenoord Betting Tips
Manchester City vs Feyenoord Odds
Man City are 1/5 to get back to winning ways here, giving them an implied probability of 83.3%. Feyenoord are priced at 12/1 to collect the three points and pile more misery onto Guardiola's side, which gives them a theoretical chance of 7/7%. The draw can be backed at 6/1 (14.3%).
Both teams to score is on offer at 5/6 and over 2.5 goals is available at 4/11.
Phil Foden and Erling Haaland have both scored three goals in the Champions League so far, and they are 7/5 and 4/9 respectively to score anytime on Tuesday.
Team News
The hosts continue to be without the services of midfielder Rodri due to his ACL injury, while Oscar Bobb and Mateo Kovacic are also in the medical bay for the Citizens.
Jeremy Doku has also been sidelined for a few weeks but he and Ruben Dias have returned to training ahead of Tuesday. If the winger is fit, he could be in contention to feature as City's attack is in dire need of a freshen up. Influential player Kevin De Bruyne could also return to the starting XI here, which would be music to the ears of striker Haaland.
The Norwegian striker has lacked service over the top for his intelligent runs, which De Bruyne will provide, but he wasted a few decent opportunities against Spurs on Sunday. He's still set to lead the line for the hosts, while Jack Grealish and Savinho will be hoping to feature in support of him in the final third.
Nathan Ake replaced John Stone at half-time at the weekend, and he looks set to start this encounter in place of either the Englishman or potentially Josko Gvardiol.
Feyenoord will be unable to call upon the services of playmaker Chris-Kevin Nadje, who was shown a straight red card in the defeat to RB Salzburg last time out.
The Dutch outfit are missing several players due to injury themselves, with striker Santiago Gimenez , first-choice goalkeeper Justin Bijlow and captain Quinten Timber all massive doubts to feature in Manchester.
Hugo Bueno, Jordan Lotomba, Ayase Ueda, Ibrahim Osman and Quilindschy Hartman are all in the treatment room, although the latter was not selected for Feyenoord's league phase squad because of the length of time he was expected to be out for.
Both teams to score @ 5/6
Man City are going through their toughest spell under Guardiola and it is cause for concern. A lot of the old guard are showing their age and with no Rodri to paper over the cracks, they are being exploited.
Kyle Walker is one who is looking like his best years are long behind him, and his recent struggles were highlighted for Tottenham's fourth goal on Sunday, as Timo Werner left him for dust.
City have been far too easy to score against of late and that's why I think both teams to score is worth backing on Tuesday. Feyenoord have been hit and miss in the Champions League so far but they have certainly made themselves a nuisance. They've scored in three of their four matches to date, in which BTTS has been a winning selection.
I fancy them to rub more salt in the wounds of City's troubled back line, who do not look solid at all right now. I do think we will see the hosts score because their Dutch visitors have conceded a lot of goals already (10) in their first four matches.
This game seems set up for them to bring an end City's dismal run and a chance for players like Haaland to regain some confidence with a goal.

Erling Haaland first goalscorer @ 11/5
He will have rued a lot of the chances he had on Sunday, but in his defence a couple of them were good saves by Vicario, who was having one of his best performances in a Spurs shirt.
Haaland still has the momentum he gained from the international break, having scored a couple of goals for Norway in the Uefa Nations League. He will hope to channel this in Europe on Tuesday, having already managed three goals in this competition.
As I mentioned above, he will be hoping for De Bruyne's return to the team because it adds a lot more creativity to the side, and he is the one person who should benefit the most from it.
I think he can start the game strongly and open the scoring, mainly because it's a better price than backing him to score anytime.
