Montenegro vs Turkey Prediction: Turks should ease to comfortable victory

Turkey need a victory over Montenegro in their final Uefa Nations League game on Tuesday (19:45 KO, live on Viaplay International YouTube) to secure promotion to the top level and they should be confident they can get it against a side who have lost all five of their matches in the competition this season and scored just one goal in the process.
Read on for my Montenegro vs Turkey predictions, complete with the latest match odds and team news.
Montenegro vs Turkey Predictions
Turkey are 8/15 to score their fourth group win of this season's Nations League and promotion, while Montenegro are 9/2 to end a run of five successive defeats in the competition with a win in their final game. The draw is available at 7/2.
Over 2.5 goals can be backed at 4/6 and both teams to score is 8/11, while Turkey stars Kerem Akturkoglou of Benfica and Enes Unal of Bournemouth are 11/2 joint favourites to score the game's first goal.
Team News
Turkey will be without suspended central defender Abdulkerim Bardakci, but Kenan Yildiz is available to give their attack another dimension. Meanwhile, skipper Hakan Calhanoglu is doubtful.
Montenegro will welcome back Stevan Jovetic from his ban but full-back Adam Marusic and Risto Radunovic will both be missing for disciplinary reasons.
Turkey to win to nil @ 7/5
Turkey missed an opportunity to confirm their Nations League promotion on Saturday when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Wales, but they should win without conceding against Group B4 strugglers Montenegro.
Vincenzo Montella's visitors remain undefeated in their five matches and their 2-1 loss to the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals has been their only defeat in their last eight outings.
They look likely to have far too much for Robert Prosinecki's side, who have lost all five of their group matches and scored just one goal in this term's competition.

Bet Builder - Under 3.5 goals, Kerem Akturkoglu to score anytime & Baris Yilmaz to be carded @ 15/1
While Montenegro have had a miserable Nations League, they have yet to concede more than twice in any of their group games, so it seems unlikely that Turkey will run riot, so under 3.5 goals seems a sensible addition to a #PickYourPunt selection.
Visiting forward Akturkoglu missed a penalty in Saturday's goalless draw against Wales, but he has shown strong form for Benfica since moving from Galatasaray in the August transfer window and can add to his tally of four for this season's competition.
His team-mate Yilmaz has committed 11 fouls in his three Nations League appearances this term and was sent off in Turkey's first meeting against Wales, so don't be surprised if he picks up another yellow card.
