England vs Greece Bet Builder Tips: Palmer to score in 7/1 shot

England entertain Greece at Wembley Stadium in the Uefa Nations League on Thursday (19:45, ITV1) as interim boss Lee Carsley aims for a third successive victory. The Three Lions were 2-0 victors over both the Republic of Ireland and Finland in the September international break.
Greece defeated Finland 3-0 before beating Ireland 2-0 in the last round of international fixtures, so you have a crunch match at the top of League B Group 2 in store. Below I have put together my England vs Greece bet builder tips, which pay out at an enticing 7/1.
England vs Greece Bet Builder Tips
- England to win by 2+ goals
- Both teams to score - No
- Anthony Gordon & Bukayo Saka 1+ shots on target each
- Cole Palmer anytime goalscorer
Bet Builder pays at 7/1
England to win by 2+ goals
Carsley has been standing himself in good stead to get the England job full-time after winning his opening two matches since being bumped up from the Under-21s.
Greece will be his toughest test to date but he has all the tools needed to make it three wins on the spin. Carsley has been boosted by the returns of Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, Kyle Walker and Phil Foden for this camp, although he has lost Ezri Konsa, Kobbie Mainoo and Morgan Gibbs-white to injury.
The Three Lions are still stacked with quality that Greece cannot compete with deep into their ranks, but their main XI will try and make life difficult for the hosts. They will give it their best shot but I find it difficult to imagine anything other than an England victory on Thursday night.
Seeing as England don't offer much value to just win the match, I have gone for them to win by a two-goal margin. The Three Lions have won their last two matches 2-0 and I wouldn't be surprised to see this trend continue against Greece.
Both teams to score - No
England have looked pretty strong defensively under Carsley and they will hoping that they can record another shutout on Thursday. They are at home so they will have the crowd behind them, and even with the loss of Konsa, the England boss has several players he can turn to to step up in his absence.
The Three Lions back line is going to present Greece with a challenge more difficult than what they have had to face against Ireland and Finland so far. Then you have the ball-winning midfielders in Declan Rice and Bellingham, who will add some extra security at the back.
With that in mind, I think we won't see both teams score in this contest.
Anthony Gordon & Bukayo Saka 1+ shots on target each
Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka have been Carsley's choices on the wings so far, so I think it's right to assume they will be starting on Thursday. Both players have pace and flair that can cause Greece all sorts of headaches, and I believe they will also receive a few chances at goal.
Not only do I think they can give their respective full-backs the run around with their wing play, both players have a talent for finding pockets of space to receive the ball. Both have started the Premier League season well, particularly Saka, so they will both be feeling fairly confident heading into this match. I think they can both register at least one shot on target in this contest.
Cole Palmer anytime goalscorer
Another England star in fine form right now is Chelsea's Cole Palmer, who has six goals and five assists in seven league appearances this term. Having not been available in the last international break, Carsley will be delighted to have Palmer back for the next set of fixtures, especially after they worked closely together in the Under-21s.
I think there is a chance Palmer gets thrown straight into the side against Greece but whether he is deployed on the right or centrally is another matter entirely. That being said, Palmer has the quality to have a huge impact from the off and from the bench.
He's performing brilliantly at the moment and he is having a lot of joy in front of goal. With doubts over Harry Kane's involvement on Thursday, there is no England player I am more confident in scoring at this moment in time.
