Football Bet of the Day: Plymouth primed to frustrate Hatters
Plymouth Argyle entertain Luton Town in Friday's (20:00, Sky Sports Football) Championship offering with both sides showing signs of improvement in recent weeks. Argyle beat high-flying Sunderland in their last home match before narrowly losing to West Brom at the Hawthorns.
Luton, meanwhile, have won their last two games and are finally proving why many people believe they can make an immediate return to the Premier League this season. With both teams in decent nick, a close match can be expected at Home Park and there is every chance the spoils will be shared on Friday night.

- Draw @ 11/4
Plymouth were expected to struggle this season and while they have not endured a stellar start by any means, they have picked up more points than perhaps was expected from their first six games.
Argyle's win over Sunderland was richly deserved and they were slightly unlucky not to come away from the Hawthorns with a point having matched West Brom's shots (17) and shots-on-target (four) counts in that clash.
Wayne Rooney's side certainly seem to be improving and they are particularly dangerous going forward, with only four Championship sides bettering their 25 shots on target this term.
Morgan Whittaker scored 19 league goals last season and is a capable performer at this level despite netting just once this term, while Ryan Hardie, Ibrahim Cissoko and Michael Obafemi are also capable of changing games.
However, Rooney will need to shore up his defensive unit if Argyle are to again avoid the drop.
Plymouth's expected-goals-against tally of 12.9 is the highest in the Championship and Luton could get plenty of opportunities at Home Park.
The Hatters will be in good spirits following their comeback win against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, when Carlton Morris came off the bench to score twice.
Luton managed to hang on to a host of the players following relegation from the Premier League including Morris, Elijah Adebayo and Alfie Doughty, and, on paper at least, Rob Edwards has a far stronger squad at his disposal than his Pilgrims counterpart Rooney.
The Hatters claimed just one point from the first 12 available back in the second tier but successive wins will have the confidence flowing again and they will be targeting a third straight league win they head to Home Park.
That said, they may have to settle for a point given the level of performance Argyle have shown against the league's current top two, West Brom and Sunderland, in their two most recent outings.
Two of the last three meetings between this pair have finished all-square and with just two points between the sides in the fledgling standings, it could pay to back another draw when they meet on Friday.
