NAP of the Day: Trust in 7/2 Churchill colt on Saturday

On a super Saturday featuring the Betfred St Leger at Doncaster and the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown, I'm drawn to the latter venue for the NAP of the Day.
NAP of the Day - Saturday, September 14
- 16:00 Leopardstown - Trustyourinstinct @ 7/2
My instinct is this is an easier Group 3 than the couple TRUSTYOURINSTINCT has contested already this summer, and that he can be trusted to take advantage of that.
Joseph O'Brien's four-year-old son of Churchill began his career on the flat, winning two in a row prior to an underwhelming effort in this grade at Leopardstown in July last year.
Gelded the following month and given a 177-day break, he then went on to spend the first half of the calendar year over jumps, before returning to the level at Gowran Park in June.
A facile success there was followed by a couple of close seconds in Group 3s at the Curragh - firstly behind Jan Brueghel, who I've tipped for the Betfred St Leger, for Joseph's father Aidan and secondly Continuous, who also represents the senior O'Brien and won the world's oldest Classic last year.
They're two strong pieces of form that hopefully look even more so after the Doncaster highlight that takes place just 20 minutes before the NAP is set to leave the stalls.
The selection, who sports the iconic green and gold silks of JP McManus, can improve on those efforts too, as this step up to 1m4f on ground looks sure to suit. Conditions shouldn't be a problem for him either.
William Haggas' Klondike is his main rival according to the 16:00 Leopardstown Odds. With a mark of 110 he sets the standard in this field of 10, but I reckon he's a little overrated.
Dermot Weld's filly Sumiha is probably as dangerous, although the daughter of Sea The Stars carries a penalty and has been off the track for 92 days, which is cause for slight concern. I find the rest difficult to advise.
In my book, Trustyourinstinct should be more like a 5/2 shot, so he rates an outstanding bet at current prices.
