Bournemouth welcome Chelsea to south coast in the Premier League on Saturday night (20:00, Sky Sports Main Event), looking to build on their dramatic victory over Everton last time out.

The Blues were held to a draw with Crystal Palace in their last appearance, so they will be hoping to get back to winning ways here. Read on for my Bournemouth vs Chelsea prediction, accompanied by match odds and team news.

Team News

Bournemouth will be forced into at least one change this weekend as goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is unable to face his parent club. This will present an opportunity for Mark Travers seeing as Neto is now warming the bench at Arsenal.

Enes Unal, Tyler Adams and Philip Billing remain sidelined due to injury.

After joining Chelsea on deadline day, Jadon Sancho will hope he can get his Premier League career up and running, so he could be in line to start on the left flank here.

Cole Palmer pulled out of the England squad with an injury but has since returned to Chelsea training, suggesting that he will be okay to feature on Saturday evening.

Reece James, Malo Gusto, Filip Jorgensen and Omari Kellyman are out injured for the Blues, while Axel Disasi can fill in as a make-shift right-back.

Draw or Chelsea and both teams to score @ 9/10

I have to be honest, I think this game is tough to call. Bournemouth remain unbeaten but two of their results have been draws, and they were both 1-1 scorelines against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United.

The Cherries' dramatic 3-2 win over Everton last time out felt like a relief after two opening stalemates, and they will look to build on that against Chelsea, although it will be a difficult game. The visitors lost on the opening day to Manchester City on the opening weekend, which is understandable, and they followed it up with a 6-2 win at Wolves before being held to a draw by Crystal Palace.

We have seen glimpses of what Enzo Maresca is trying to achieve with his squad, but it's clear that there is still a way to go. The options at his disposal will help him in his quest, and the bench he will name on Saturday will dwarf the one that Andoni Iraola will have in comparison.

It's for that reason that I will lean with Chelsea in the double chance market. The likes of Palmer, Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and Pedro Neto can be the difference-makers here, and not all of them are guaranteed to start, which makes good use of having an impact from the bench.

I have gone for both teams to score to strengthen the odds because both these sides have conceded in every game they have featured in so far in the top-flight. And for Bournemouth in particular, BTTS has landed in all three of their fixtures, so I think that trend can continue this weekend.

Both teams are quite vulnerable at the back which should make for a frantic end-to-end spectacle in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Draw or chelsea and btts at 9/10 Noni Madueke 2+ shots on target @ 9/5

There was a lot of speculation over the summer that Madueke could have been heading for the exit door to help Chelsea acquire new players but also stay within the PSR limits.

The former PSV Eindhoven winger ended last term in decent form and has started well in this campaign, but he still has a way to go to become a top-level talent. He is the kind of winger that Maresca likes to work with, someone direct and will take players on, while being able to create and score goals. He looks to be cementing his position on the right flank, but he knows he needs to keep putting the work in to maintain it.

Madueke is tricky to defend against with his fancy footwork and speed, so I think Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez is going to be in for a long evening trying to nullify his threat.

The Hungarian is a full-back who likes to venture forward when the Cherries are on the attack and that is something Madueke will look to exploit. As a result, I think this can lead to a fe goalscoring chances coming the Chelsea man's way at the Vitality Stadium, and I believe he can find the target at least twice.
