Lille to beat Slavia Praha @ 8/11
First up, we head to France for this Champions League play-off first leg between Lille and Slavia Praha. The hosts may not be playing this game at their own ground due to the Olympics, but they will still hope that Stade du Hainaut will serve as a strong second home for this crunch match.
They have some excellent players in their ranks, especially their forward Jonathan David, who has scored in his last two matches in all competitions. Their Czech visitors will be a tough test for them as they have conceded just twice in their last seven competitive games.
However, I do think that individual quality will be enough for Lille to come out on top in this first leg and give them the advantage ahead of next week's meeting in Prague.
Bodo/Glimt to beat Crvena zvezda @ 8/13
An interesting tie kicks off in Norway as Bodo/Glimt welcome Crvena zvezda to Aspmyra Stadion. The Norwegian side are deep into their 2024 campaign with 19 matches played, leaving just 11 to go.
They are five points clear at the top of the Eliteserien as they look to close in on a successive title. While that is important to them, they will also want to qualify for the new-look Champions League group stage, and they are just two games away from making that a reality.
Kjetil Knutsen's side like to play an exciting brand of football, and they are a very tough side to beat at home, so I think that they can beat their opponents in this opening leg on home soil. Crvena zvezda won't make it easy for them, but their impressive home form suggests they will have what it takes to take a lead into next week's contest in Belgrade.
Oldham Athletic to beat AFC Fylde @ 9/10
Oldham Athletic's National League campaign has started brilliantly, with the Latics having won their opening two matches. This is their third year down in the fifth tier of English football, and they will be hoping that this is the year that they can escape and return to the Football League.
Many had been optimistic about their chances before a ball was kicked, and although it's still early days, Micky Mellon's side are looking good. They will be gunning for another victory when they host AFC Fylde on Tuesday, who have won one and lost one so far.
I think Oldham will win this one with the momentum they have generated from their first two wins, and I do think that they can make Boundary Park a fortress this year.
Sutton United to beat Wealdstone @ 13/10
After suffering relegation from League 2 and a return to the National League after three years, Sutton United will be aiming for a swift return to the EFL. They have enjoyed a positive start with four points from their opening two fixtures, but they know firsthand how many it will take for them to win the league.
They travel to Wealdstone on Tuesday for their third match of the campaign, and the hosts have had failed to get off the mark yet, which Steve Morison's side will look to capitalise on. Momentum is with the visitors, so I think things might just get worse for Wealdstone before they get better.
Aldershot Town to beat Braintree Town @ 5/4
Aldershot Town missed out on the play-offs by just two points last season, and they will be aiming to go one step further in 2024/25. Like Sutton, they have collected four points from their opening two matches.
Their one win came from a slender away win at Halifax at the weekend, and so they will be hoping for more of the same when they travel to Braintree Town on Tuesday. Their draw was an impressive one, too, as they played out a six-goal thriller with one of the title favourites Forest Green Rovers.
Braintree's campaign has started slowly, having lost both their fixtures played so far. Aldershot will see this as an excellent opportunity to start putting together a winning streak as they aim to finish in the top seven this term.
They've looked sharp so far and I think they will have too much for the hosts, who are still trying to find their rhythm.
