BTTS Tips: 9/1 five-fold from Saturday’s offering

Saturday brings with it a feast of footballing action, which offers an excellent opportunity to put together a nice little accumulator. Both teams to score is one of the most popular coupons here at Betfred, and this is what I have selected for this particular five-fold.

Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur collide in Seoul for the first of a double-header of friendlies, with both sides hoping for more success in 2024/25. Bayern's exclusive period of dominance in the Bundesliga was ended by Bayer Leverkusen last term and now the club will be eager to get back on top, under the stewardship of new boss Vincent Kompany.

Spurs started the last Premier League campaign brightly under Ange Postecoglou, but they couldn't maintain it to finish in the top four. That will be the aim for them this time around, so this game will serve as a strong exercise for both sides.

The Premier League side may not get a reunion with Harry Kane, but Bayern still have a lot of attacking talent to throw at them on Saturday, while Spurs have some handy attacking stars of their own. I think we will be treated to a few goals here so BTTS is worth backing.

BTTS Yes in Hertha Berlin vs SC Paderborn

This 2. Bundesliga opener pits Hertha Berlin against SC Paderborn, with both sides aiming for better success in 2024/25. Paderborn finished seventh last term, while Hertha Berlin ended the season in ninth - with just four points between them.

Both teams will be aiming to finish higher up the table to push for a return to the Bundesliga, with Hertha having enjoyed a lengthy spell in the top-flight before their relegation two seasons ago.

The two teams scored plenty of goals last term, with the hosts recording 69 and Paderborn themselves netting 54. They will both want to get off to a positive start on Saturday, and the two sides have been looking sharp in pre-season as the goals have continued to flow.

Their last meeting back in April delivered a five-goal thriller in which Hertha came out on top, so everything points to another clash between these two teams in which BTTS will land.

BTTS Yes in Motherwell vs Ross County

Ross County narrowly stayed up in the Scottish Premiership last season, having defeated Raith Rovers in the promotion/relegation play-off, so they will be aiming for better fortune this term.

So will Motherwell, who also ended the campaign in the bottom six. When these two meet on Saturday, they will both look to get off to a strong start to help them avoid another lowly finish. Having both been involved in the Scottish League Cup group stage, their fitness levels will be high and they will be raring to go.

They both topped their respective groups, with Ross County winning all four of their fixtures, but they were both prolific in front of goal. Motherwell scored seven goals to Ross County's 10, so the attacking players will be primed for this league opener. BTTS would be a sensible selection for this contest.

BTTS Yes in Midtjylland vs Aalborg

The Danish Superliga is into its third weekend and one game that I think we will see goals at both ends is Midtjylland versus Aalborg. They are one place and one point apart from each other as things stand, and they have both been involved in matches that have seen both teams score already.

BTTS has been a winning selection in both of Midtjylland's first two fixtures, while it has landed in Aalborg's most recent encounter. They have each scored three and four goals respectively from their opening two matches, which points towards us being treated to goals at the MCH Arena on Saturday.

In the Swiss Super League, there is an exciting clash in store as league leaders Servette head to fourth-place Lugano. This match sees last year's runners-up host the team that finished third, with just one point separating them.

Both will be gunning for the title this year and each will perceive the other as just as big a threat to their ambition as defending champions Young Boys. Servette have scored eight goals already from their opening three fixtures, while Lugano have netted four in two.

BTTS has landed in all three of the league leaders' matches thus far, and in both of Lugano's. I am confident that we will see both teams score here, and it will be a good indicator of how this year's title race might pan out.
