Over 2.5 Goals Tips: 5/1 four-fold from Tuesday’s European action

There is a lot of European action coming our way on Tuesday from both the Champions League and Europa Conference League as the second legs of the second qualifying rounds for both competitions get underway.
This presents an opportunity to put together an accumulator and on this occasion, the coupon that catches my eye the most is over 2.5 goals. There were plenty of them in many of the first legs that took place last week and I think there are more to come this time around. Below I have outlined my over 2.5 goals tips for Tuesday, July 30.
Over 2.5 Goals Tips - Tuesday, July 30
- Fenerbahce vs Lugano
- The New Saints vs Ferencvaros
- KI vs Malmo
- Drita vs Breidablik
Over 2.5 goals acca pays at 5.61/1
Fenerbahce vs Lugano
What a game these two teams delivered in the first leg of their Champions League tie, there was no shortage of action. It was the most exciting game across all European competitions last week as Fenerbahce came away with a 4-3 win at Lugano.
Edin Dzeko netted a hat-trick for the Turkish side, now managed by Jose Mourinho. So his European know-how will come as a huge boost to Fenerbahce, who expect to be involved at the highest level in Europe.
There were seven goals last week and it is still quite tight between the two sides. The hosts will be hoping to get the job done in their own backyard, but Lugano gave them plenty to think about, and the Swiss outfit will look to do more of the same on Tuesday.
Hopefully we are treated to another spectacle between these two impressive teams, and if we are going off last week's show, goals shouldn't be in short supply. Over 2.5 goals should land with ease in this second leg.
The New Saints vs Ferencvaros
Cymru Premier side The New Saints were left stunned last week as they were comfortably beaten 5-0 by Hungarian side Ferencvaros. The Welsh side have a huge mountain to climb in this second leg on home soil if they wish their Champions League journey to continue.
They were outclassed last week and they will need to conjure up a huge performance if they are to pull off an incredible comeback. They will be fired up, hoping to achieve the impossible, and being in front of their home fans, I think they will carry a stronger goal threat.
Ferencvaros will likely be thinking that the job is done heading into this match, but they may want to put the tie beyond any doubt, to snuff out any hope that The New Saints may have. We may not be in for quite as many goals as we witnessed in the first leg, but I think we could be in for at least three this time around.
KI vs Malmo
Malmo head to the Faroe Islands with a 4-1 lead over KI in this Champions League second leg, and may be thinking that the job is done. Scoring a consolation goal last week may have offered KI a glimmer of hope for this home tie, and Malmo may want to kill it early on.
After all, this game will serve as another good exercise as they aim to continue their title charge in the Allsvenskan. Malmo are top of the table currently, and they are four points ahead of Djurgarden in second. However, their league results have been inconsistent of late, so this gives them an opportunity to get some consistency as they are now into the second half of the campaign.
It is also worth noting that over 2.5 goals has landed in four of their last five encounters across all competitions, which is why I am backing it for this latest fixture.
Drita vs Breidablik
In the Europa Conference League, Drita welcome Breidablik to Zahir Pajaziti Stadium, having picked up a 2-1 lead in Iceland last week. They had to go through the final minutes with 10 men, which will force a change to the lineup for this meeting, but they will be hoping for more of the same on home soil.
As this is one of the more tighter contests of my selections, it feels as though there are still a few twists and turns to come in this tie, especially with just one goal separating the two sides.
I think we will be in for more goals here as Breidablik will still believe they have a strong chance to progress to the next round, and they will look to cause the home side some problems. Drita will look to use the home advantage to wrap this tie up, but they know they will have to work just as hard as they did last time out if they are to make it through.
