Bromley vs Altrincham Prediction: Ravens to take down the Robins

The National League action heads to Hayes Lane on Saturday when Bromley, who sit second in the table, play host to fourth-place Altrincham.

Bromley boss Andy Woodman already believes Chesterfield have the title wrapped up at this stage of the campaign, with last season's beaten play-off finalists eight points clear with two games in hand on the Ravens.

If Woodman's side are going to stand any chance of catching the Spireites, they need to keep racking up the victories and they look to have a good chance of clinching the spoils at home to Altrincham.

Although just two places behind Bromley in the table, the Robins are 10 points behind their opponents and they may struggle to get anything out of what could turn out to be a tight affair on Saturday.

Team news

Bromley announced the signing of striker Levi Amantchi from Maidstone United on Monday but his debut will be delayed due to injury.

Myles Weston made his debut when coming off the bench in the victory over Southend last time out and he could be given his first start given the amount of matches being played this month.

Altrincham winger Olly Crankshaw is out for the season after he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury away to Barnet back in September.

Match Odds

Bromley are 21/20 to chalk up a fifth straight victory in all competitions, with the draw priced at 12/5 and Altrincham 21/10 to extend their winning streak to four games.

The last two meetings between these two have ended in 2-1 victories for Bromley, and it is 7/1 for that scoreline to be repeated on Saturday.

Bromley to win @ 21/20

Bromley's 2-1 victory at Southend extended their winning streak to four matches in all competitions, a run of form that has seen them cement their position in second.

The Ravens have won three of their last four home fixtures, all of those coming to nil, while they have suffered just two defeats from their last 14 encounters at Hayes Lane.

Confidence is high in the Bromley camp and they look to have enough to edge past Altrincham, who head into the clash aiming to extend their own winning run to four matches.

The Robins have struggled on the road of late and they are without a victory in normal time in their last four attempts, with the triumph at Halifax Town in their last away game coming via penalties.

Under 2.5 Goals @ EVS

Both of these teams have been stingy in defence this season, with Bromley conceding just 24 goals to boast the joint-second best record and Altrincham not far behind with a tally of 30.

The Ravens have been a tough nut to crack on home soil with four of their last five fixtures at Hayes Lane producing under 2.5 goals.

Altrincham's scoring touch on the road has deserted them, as they have failed to score in their last two away outings, and another frugal affair is expected on Saturday.
