We preview this clash by picking out some of the best markets available.

Brighton vs Marseille Betting Tips

  • Over 3.5 goals - 5/4
  • Joao Pedro to score anytime - 7/5

Match Odds

Brighton are 8/13 to get the win here. A draw is available at 10/3, while Marseille are 18/5 to upset the home side.

Both teams to score is valued at 8/15. Over 2.5 goals is at the short price of 1/2.

Team News

Solly March, Julio Enciso, Pervis Estupinan, Danny Welbeck, Tariq Lamptey, Ansu Fati and Adam Webster compile a very unnerving injury list for Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.

Marseille are going to be without both Joaquin Correa and Valentin Rongier for the trip to the Seagulls, while Geoffrey Kondogbia is a doubt to feature.

Over 3.5 goals @ 5/4

When these two sides met earlier in the season, they played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in which Joao Pedro scored from the penalty spot to rescue a draw for Brighton in the 88th minute. We are expecting another spectacle between them at the Amex Stadium, especially with top spot in Group B on the line. Both sides will be itching to earn the more favourable draw in the last-16.

There is a lot of quality among both their ranks and both managers will be looking to their attacking players to deliver the goods and round-off an excellent group stage campaign. Brighton will take confidence in having home advantage but they will be well aware of the threat Marseille possess. If we're lucky we might get more than four goals this time around.

Over 3. 5 goals at 5/4

Joao Pedro to score anytime @ 7/5

After showing the composure to convert the late penalty which saw the Seagulls earn a hard-fought point at Marseille in the return fixture, Joao Pedro will be looking forward to having another crack at the French side.

The forward has been most-impressive for Brighton in Europe this term with five goals in as many appearances. He has only failed to find the back of the net once in the Europa League and coupled with his Premier League goals, he has 10 to his name this season.

Whether he gets a start or comes on from the bench against Marseille, the Brazilian will give their defenders a lot to think about. His exploits have seen him lead the way in the Europa League scoring charts and he will want to cap off an excellent group stage campaign with another goal which could send Brighton through as the group winners.

Joao pedro to score anytime at 7/5
