Real Madrid welcome Union Berlin to the Santiago Bernabeu as both sides kick-off their respective Champions League campaigns on Wednesday evening (17:45).

Los Blancos will enter the contest off the back of a 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad in La Liga, while Union Berlin suffered a 2-1 loss to Wolfsburg in their most recent league outing.

Madrid will be without Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and Vinicius Junior, while summer signing Arda Guler remains unavailable.

As for the visitors, Rani Khedira, Andras Schafer and Laurenz Dehl remain on the treatment table for the clash in the Spanish capital, while Kevin Volland will be available, despite currently serving a Bundesliga suspension.

Real Madrid have won all five of their games so far this season, although they’ve conceded in three of their last four.

Los Blancos meet a Union Berlin side who have scored in four of their five matches this term, while the hosts kept just two clean sheets in last season’s group stage, so I certainly see vulnerabilities in the Madrid defence that could be exposed.

Union Berlin are the fifth side to face Real Madrid in their first-ever Champions League match, with each of the previous four losing, and I’m expecting that streak to continue here.

Jude Bellingham to score anytime @ 8/5

Bellingham made the big-money move from the Bundesliga to La Liga this summer, and he’s hit the ground running for Los Blancos.

The England international has scored six times across seven games for club and country this season, making a dream start for Madrid.

Bellingham also scored in each of his first four group stage games for Borussia Dortmund last year and he can notch against Union Berlin on Wednesday.
