Leg 1 – Inter vs Torino – Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10

Fresh from their Scudetto win in the derby, the Nerazzurri will want to continue the celebrations in front of their fans.

This season, they’ve been almost perfect in Serie A, having lost just once (in September) and scored 79 times.

Thanks to 27 wins in 33 games, Simone Inzaghi’s men have celebrated the title with five games to go. Something that has happened only in five other occasions in the history of Italy’s top flight.

There’s no reason to believe the leaders will take the foot off the gas and they’ll continue to enjoy playing on the attack, as they did all season long.

None of Inter's last 23 league matches have been goalless at half-time, as at San Siro they scored before the break in all but one (against Roma) league games this season.

This is a clash between the two teams that have kept the most clean sheets in Serie A (Inter 19, Torino 17, the Granata are one short of their all-time record in 1991-1992), but lately the Nerazzuri have shipped more goals as Yann Sommer has been beaten in six of the last seven matches in all competitions.

The visitors average one goal per game on the road and three of Inter's last five Serie A wins were by a 2-1 scoreline.

Leg 2 – Napoli vs Roma – Draw Or Roma @ 5/6

This season, Napoli have made a habit of conceding cheap goals and the negative trend continued last week in Empoli where they were defeated 1-0.

Last year’s champions keep struggling to find consistency and seem to depend too much from the strokes of genius of some of their big players.

Roma, on the other hand, despite their recent 3-1 defeat at the hands of Bologna, appear like a stronger collective and a tactically better drilled side.

The Neapolitans have only won one of their last six games in all competitions and haven’t kept a clean sheet in the past 14 games, including the Champions League.

The hosts’ form at the ‘Stadio Diego Armando Maradona’ is very poor, in fact they’ve only won six league games and scored 22 goals, less than newly-promoted Cagliari and Frosinone.

The Giallorossi are still fighting to qualify for next season’s Champions League but have drawn the last three Serie A away games.

Both teams have struggled to get results against sides that occupy the first eight positions in the table: Roma have only achieved eight points and Napoli 10.

Napoli are unbeaten in the last five home games against Roma and Over 2.5 Goals has been a winning bet in five of Roma’s last six league away matches.

Leg 3 – Fiorentina vs Sassuolo – Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/6

La Viola suffered a bruising elimination from the Coppa Italia in midweek by Atalanta that, in the 4-1 win, exposed their technical and tactical shortfalls.

Once again, Fiorentina paid a high price for individual mistakes and demonstrated a scarce ability to remain focused.

With another semifinal, this time in the Conference League against Club Brugge looming, it’s possible that manager Vincezo Italiano will again decide to make a heavy turnover as he did a week ago in Salerno.

Due to their poor run of form in 2024, as they’ve only won back-to-back games once, it is unlikely Fiorentina will qualify directly to play in Europe next season.

Sassuolo might profit from their opponents’ busy schedule but unless the Neroverdi can keep it very tight at the back, something they haven’t done all season, it’s unlikely they’ll get the three points at the ‘Artemio Franchi’.

This season the visitors have conceded 65 goals (Italy’s second-worst defence) and on the road they’ve never kept a clean sheet nor achieved a victory.

Davide Ballardini’s men average more than one goal scored per game away from home and despite Armand Lauriente’s (four goals this season) suspension they could get chances against an understrength Fiorentina.

Five of Fiorentina’s last seven home games have had three goals or more and both teams have scored in nine of the last 11 Serie A meetings.

Leg 4 - Genoa vs Cagliari – Both Teams To Score – No @ 4/5

The Sardinians have peaked at the right time of the season and thanks to 14 points in the last nine games (only one defeat, 1-0 at Monza), they’re set to achieve salvation.

Cagliari have built their campaign around a strong home form, in fact they’ve collected 75% of their points in front of their supporters, but recently they managed to score twice at San Siro against champions Inter.

Despite this good performance, Claudio Ranieri’s men still have Serie A’s worst away attack (11 goals scored, same as Salernitana) as they’ve failed to find the net in seven out of 16 games on the road.

Without the pace of Zito Luvumbo (suspended) up front, Cagliari won’t have many chances of scoring on the break against the organised Genoa defence.

The hosts were unlucky in their recent 1-0 defeat at ‘Marassi’ against Lazio as they missed a couple of decent scoring opportunities in the first half.

Genoa have only lost back-to-back games twice this season and each time against, at least, one top side. It’s unlikely Alberto Gilardino’s men will be defeated, at home, by a fellow newly promoted club. In fact, despite having won only five domestic matches this season, four of those victories have come against teams who are fighting to avoid relegation.
