The top two seeds collide on Centre Court on Sunday when defending champion Jannik Sinner faces French Open winner Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon Men's Final.

Both men arrive in peak form after straight‑sets semi‑final wins on Friday — Sinner dismantling Novak Djokovic 6‑4, 6‑4, 6‑4, and Zverev ending British wildcard Arthur Fery's dream run 7‑6(0), 6‑2, 6‑4.

Below are my two betting picks for the men's final.

Tennis Betting Tips - Sunday 12 July 2026

Jannick Sinner -5.5 Games Match Handicap @ 1/1

This matchup has been brutally one‑sided for the past three years with Zverev winless in their nine tour-level and Grand Slam meetings since the 2023 US Open.

What's more, the Italian has won 12 consecutive sets in their six clashes since last year's Vienna Open Final.

This lopsided rivalry has tilted heavily in Sinner's favour because of his success attacking Zverev's second serve and his ability to withstand pressure on his own serve.

Sinner has not been broken in that last dozen sets of tennis against Zverev, saving all 10 break points that he has faced.

And he is coming off a semi-final performance where he dropped just 10 points on serve across the first two sets against Djokovic.

He hit 16 aces, won 88 per cent of first‑serve points and saved the only break point he faced in that match in what is being generally considered his best overall display since this year's Madrid Masters final — where he eviscerated Zverev 6‑1, 6‑2.

The German's explosive service action will keep him competitive, but Sinner has repeatedly exposed Zverev's vulnerability when he has to dial down the velocity on second serve.

In their last six meetings, Sinner has broken Zverev 20 times and covered a -5.5 handicap in four of them, all straight‑sets wins.

With Sinner's level rising round by round and his grass‑court confidence peaking, the handicap looks well within reach again.

Jannick Sinner to win 3-1 @ 12/5

Despite the lopsided head‑to‑head, Zverev is playing too well to expect a straight‑sets defeat.

His serve has been excellent all fortnight — he has won 73 per cent of first‑serve points, 61 per cent on second serve, and has been clutch in tie‑breaks, winning six in a row.

He should be able to force at least one tight set, possibly via a tie-breaker.

But Sinner's superiority in rallies, his mental edge in the rivalry, and his ability to raise his level under pressure make a four‑set win the most likely outcome.

Zverev may lead at stages, but Sinner's consistency, confidence and matchup advantage should carry him to a fifth Grand Slam title and back‑to‑back Wimbledon crowns.
