Tennis Betting Tips: Boulter to shine at Queen’s

Day two at Queen's gets underway on Tuesday and there are some interesting match-ups in store. I enjoyed two winning selections on Monday, with one to be determined due to the match being suspended.
I'm hoping for a stronger success rate on Tuesday and you can check out my Tennis Betting Tips below.

Set Betting - Katie Boulter to beat Ajla Tomljanovic 2-0 @ 13/10
Britain's number one star Katie Boulter will be gearing up for another crack at Wimbledon this year, the Grand Slam that all British stars dream to win. She has been evolving on the WTA Tour in recent years but she is still to get past the third round at the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
She will be hoping to change the narrative this time around and she will feel that she needs to head to SW19 later this month with plenty of momentum behind her. Boulter's Queen's journey begins on Tuesday at the Andy Murray Arena against Ajla Tomljanovic. Both players have pedigree on grass, with the latter being a two-time quarter-finalist at Wimbledon.
Boulter's developed a powerful forehand which I think will cause her Australian opponent all kinds of problems as she doesn't play or move as well as she has done in previous years. Tomljanovic will try and get her strong backhand in play as much as possible but I do think Boulter will be able to handle what is thrown at her.
I have the Brit to progress in straight sets.

Set Betting - Barbora Krejcikova to beat Rebecca Sramkova 2-0 @ 23/20
Barbora Krejcikova will return to Wimbledon this summer as the defending champion. She was not one of the favourites last year, but she played as if she should've been. It was the Czech star's second Grand Slam single's title, having claimed the French Open crown back in 2021.
Despite prevailing at Wimbledon a year ago, the bookies are underestimating her chances of retaining her title, with Betfred pricing her at 80/1 to prevail in SW19. She defied expectations last time so I think she will relish the chance to do it again.
Of course match sharpness could be a factor, as Krejcikova recently spent six months out of action with an injury and has only played three matches since.
Her preparations continue at Queen's against Slovakia's Rebecca Sramkova. Krejcikova is a far stronger player on grass than her opponent. Krejcikova's rustiness may provide an opening, but I'm not expecting Sramkova to snatch at such an opportunity.
I think the reigning Wimbledon champion should be able to wrap this up in two sets.

Set Betting - Diana Shnaider to beat Magdalena Frech 2-0 @ 10/11
Last year’s Bad Homburg Open champion Diana Shnaider should be feeling as though she should get through her contest with Magdalena Frech with little fuss.
Despite being a solid all-around player, Frech is most likely to cause an upset on a hard court, which I also think would've helped Sramkova against Krejcikova.
Shnaider has proved she can already play well on all surfaces by winning hard, clay, and grass titles in 2024. Her firepower can ask a lot of questions of her opponent, while Frech has shown that her movement can not be as fluid out on this surface.
To complete the set, I'm predicting Shnaider to progress in straight sets as well.
