Tennis Betting Tips: Two price boosts to back at the French Open

The first round of this year's French Open concludes on Tuesday, and there's some big names in action including the two number one seeds, Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka.
Read on for my tennis betting tips for 26 May 2026.

Match Betting - Daniel Altmaier to beat Felix Auger-Aliassime @ 5/2
This one has upset written all over it, in my opinion.
Felix Auger-Aliassime, for all his talent, has a poor record in Slams - 14-13 in first-round matches and at Roland Garros, he's 2-4. The Canadian has won just four of his 27 opening-round fixtures in straight sets.
Tuesday's opponent, Daniel Altmaier, has three top-10 scalps at the French Open, including one over Sinner and one last year over Taylor Fritz. Altmaier has also won two of his four previous meetings with Auger-Aliassime, and has a 5-5 record against top-10 players on this surface.
So, I'm going to back the German to win the match, and inflict another opening-round defeat in a major for Auger-Aliassime.

Price Boost - 6-0 set in Jannik Sinner vs Clement Tabur @ 9/2 (was 4/1)
My next pick comes courtesy of a price boost, and a decent one at that.
Sinner is the clear favourite for the tournament, especially after Carlos Alcaraz's withdrawal, and the Italian begins his quest for his maiden French Open title - which would also complete the Career Slam.
The 24-year-old is 1/100 in terms of the match market, which is unsurprising given that Clement Tabur is a wildcard entry, so this price boost certainly caught my eye. This bet also landed in three of Sinner's seven matches at last year's tournament.
It goes without saying that I'm backing this price boost to land in favour of Sinner as Tabur will do well to get a few games off the Italian, never mind a set.

Price Boost - 6-0 set in Aryna Sabalenka vs Jessica Bouzas Maneiro @ 5/2 (was 2/1)
Finally, I've picked the same price boost to land in the opening-round match between Sabalenka and Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.
Sabalenka was runner-up at Roland Garros last year and will be determined to claim her first title in France. She has a 2-0 head-to-head record against Tuesday's opponent Bouzas Maneiro, although the Spaniard is a fierce competitor, capable of making this a physical match.
However, nobody on the WTA Tour has the power to match the world number one at her best, and I can see her starting fast here. Similar to Sinner in my previous pick, Sabalenka achieved this feat in her opening-round match last year, as well as in her semi-final triumph against Iga Swiatek, making it a tempting selection.
