Tennis Betting Tips: British pair to seal third-round spots at US Open

The US Open action continues on Thursday with the top half of both the men's and women's draws, which means that world No.1's Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek are both on court in the Big Apple.
Sinner faces American hope Alex Michelsen and Swiatek pits her wits against Japanese qualifier Ena Shibahara, while Wimbledon and French Open champion Carlos Alcaraz is also in second-round action against Botic van de Zandschulp. There is plenty of British interest on day four and Jack Draper and Dan Evans both feature in my Tennis betting tips for Thursday, August 29.
Tennis Betting Tips - Thursday, August 29
Set Betting - Jack Draper to beat Facundo Diaz Acosta 3-0 @ 7/10
The British trio all hold realistic claims of progressing and Draper can tee up a potential third-round clash with Alcaraz by easing past Argentina's Facundo Diaz Acosta in straight sets.
Draper has arrived at Flushing Meadows at a career-high 25th in the world rankings, having reached the quarter-finals in Cincinnati and he looked in ruthless form when easing past an injured Zhizhen Zhang in the first round.
Statistically one of the best returners on the ATP Tour, Draper can engineer plenty of break-point opportunities against a limited Diaz Acosta.
Match Betting - Dan Evans to beat Mariano Navone @ 10/11
Evans produced a remarkable comeback to beat Karen Khachanov in round one and, with a day of rest behind him, the Brummie battler can emerge on the right side of a pick'em contest with Mariano Navone.
It's not been a vintage season for Evans, but he showed fighting spirit in partnering Andy Murray at the Olympics and again demonstrated great heart in coming from 4-0 down in the final set to see off a high-class rival in Khachanov.
He can edge out Navone, who had not won a set in four matches prior to his first-round win over Daniel Altmaier.
Total Games - Over 22.5 in Naomi Osaka vs Karolina Muchova @ 10/11
The best match on the day four schedule comes from the women's draw as four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka takes on last year's French Open finalist Karolina Muchova in a match which should eclipse the 22.5-game line.
While not the force of old, Osaka demolished Jelena Ostapenko in the first round and she looks a worthy favourite, although Muchova is a top-class performer when fit and firing.
The Czech beat Dayana Yastremska in Cincinnati then pushed Jessica Pegula to three sets in the same tournament, and both of her two previous meetings with Osaka went to a decider.
Match Betting - Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova to beat Elisabetta Cocciaretto 2-0 @ 5/4
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has not always lived up to her potential, but she remains an accomplished hardcourt performer and can ease past Elisabetta Cocciaretto in straight sets.
Pavlyuchenkova reached the Cincinnati quarter-finals, losing out to resurgent Paula Badosa, then she demolished Taylah Preston 6-2 6-0 in round one in New York.
Cocciaretto saw off world number 329 Kateryna Baindl in her opener, but the Italian had suffered five straight-sets losses in her previous six matches.
