It's crunch time at the Cincinnati Open, with a place in the final up for grabs in Saturday's semi-finals.

Pick Your Punt - Jannik Sinner (ITA) to win a point in every Terence Atmane (FRA) service game @ 2/1

It's been a fairy tale run to the Cincinnati Open semi-finals for Terence Atmane, who had to come through two rounds of qualifying before even reaching the main draw, where he has beaten World No. 4 Taylor Fritz (3-6, 7-5, 6-3) and World No. 9 Holger Rune (6-2, 6-3), among others, to set up a final-four tie with World No. 1 Jannik Sinner.

Prior to this run, the 23-year-old Frenchman had never been beyond the third round at a tour-level event and had never earned a top-10 win. 136th in the world heading to Cincinnati, Atmane has climbed 67 places to No. 69 in the ATP Live Rankings, setting him up for a new career high.

Meanwhile, four-time Grand Slam winner Sinner is looking to successfully defend a Masters title for the first time in his career.

It's the Italian's 24th birthday on Saturday, and you could be forgiven for thinking the tennis gods have gift-wrapped a ticket to the final of the Cincinnati Open. Atmane has upset the odds in every round so far, with his victory over Fritz particularly surprising, but this year's Australian Open and Wimbledon winner, Sinner, is on a completely different level to any of the Frenchman's previous opponents in The Queen City.

Sinner is on an 11-match win streak, last losing to Alexander Bublik (6-3, 3-6, 4-6) in Halle on June 19, and he's only lost one set since - to World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz (4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4) in the final of Wimbledon last month.

He's made a mockery of his opponents so far in Cincy, particularly Feliz Auger-Aliassime, who he thrashed 6-0, 6-2 in the quarter-finals on Thursday, coming through that match in one hour and 15 minutes. Sinner won at least a point in all seven of the Canadian's service games, and there have only been two instances of him failing to pick up a point in a competitor's service game at this tournament, with Daniel Elahi Galan and Adrien Mannarino responsible for one each.

Against Rune, Atmane enjoyed two service games without losing a point, and he managed that feat three times against Fritz.

However, a semi-final with Sinner represents a huge step up in difficulty, and winning four straight points, even on serve, feels like a huge ask. The Italian will want to get this one done as quickly as possible, and I see an easy straight-sets victory for him, with the 2/1 to win a point in every Atmane service game looking enticing.

Set Betting - Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) 2-1 vs Alexander Zverev (GER) @ 11/4

World No. 3 Alexander Zverev has enjoyed an impressive run to the semi-finals of the Cincinnati Open, reaching the final four without losing a set.

The 28-year-old was perhaps fortunate that his quarter-final opponent, World No. 6 Ben Shelton (6-2, 6-2), was visibly tired after winning the Canadian Open in Toronto last week, but the German still had a job to do, and he did it with ease.

Zverev's serve has only been broken once in Cincy, and he should be encouraged by the difficulties his next opponent, Alcaraz, has faced so far in the tournament.

The Spaniard has lost seven service games - at least one in every match - and was taken to three sets in the second round by Damir Dzumhur (6-1, 2-6, 6-3) and in the quarter-finals by Andrey Rublev (6-3, 4-6, 5-7).

On Saturday, Alcaraz faces Zverev, who boasts the upper hand in this head-to-head (6-5). All of the German's last three victories over top-five opponents have come against the five-time Grand Slam winner, and in good form this week, he will believe he has a chance of reaching the final.

Alcaraz isn't at the top of his game, and taking a set is certainly achievable for Zverev.

Ultimately, though, I expect the Spaniard to come out on top and set up another mouthwatering final with Sinner.
