Tennis Betting Tips: Muchova will be made to work at Queen’s

With Roland Garros wrapped up for another year, focus now turns to the grass-court season in tennis, as we build up towards Wimbledon later this month. Players begin their preparations this week with notable events taking place in Stuttgart on the ATP Tour, and Queen's (HSBC Championships) for the WTA Tour.
Below you will find my three tennis betting tips for Monday, June 9.

Set Betting - Brandon Nakashima to beat Jacob Fearnley 2-1 @ 16/5
This looks to be an interesting match-up in Stuttgart as Britain's Jacob Fearnley takes on USA's Brandon Nakashima. Both players are comfortable on grass and on paper it looks like this could very much be a tight affair.
Fearnley has just broken into the top 50 (49th) ATP rankings and he will be eager to further improve his status over the course of the grass-court season. His opponent is currently noted as the 29th best player in the world so he is slightly more well-established than the British number two star.
The two 23-year-olds can deliver an entertaining match in Germany and I think there will be some captivating rallies on offer. Ultimately, I think Nakashima edges this clash as he is currently more established than Fearnley, but the Brit can put him to work here, so I'm going for the American to win in three sets.

Total games - Under 18.5 - Donna Vekic vs Anastasia Zakharova @ 1/1
Croatia's Donna Vekic enjoyed a rollercoaster ride at Wimbledon last year as she battled her way to the semi-finals, only to bow out against Jasmine Paolini after a gruelling tie-break in the deciding set.
Vekic has shown how well she handles herself on grass and she will be desperate to return to SW19 to go at least one step further this season. The 28-year-old appears at Queen's to aid her preparation for Wimbledon and she faces Russian Anastasia Zakharova in the first round.
The 23-year-old's performances in qualifying have shown promise but she will now face a much sterner test in the world number 19, who has pedigree on this surface. Vekic's experience in big matches and her powerful serve will likely serve as a great lesson to her opponent, but I think this should be a routine exercise for the Croatian.
I'm confident that there will be less than 19 games across this whole match as a result.

Set Betting - Karolina Muchova to beat Maddison Inglis 2-1 @ 3/1
Karolina Muchova is someone who is being tipped for a strong run at Wimbledon this year, despite her best performance being the quarter-finals - the last time being in 2021.
The Czech star is currently marketed as joint-fifth to prevail at the All England Lawn Tennis Club with Betfred at 16/1, but she's going to require the best tennis of her career if she is to claim her maiden Grand Slam title.
Muchova makes an appearance at Queen's on Monday evening and she is going to face Australia's Maddison Inglis. There is a chance of an upset here because Inglis' straight-set victories in qualifying were impressive and have given her momentum ahead of the main draw.
Her baseline game is strong and has a talent for sharp returns, which could cause Muchova problems seeing as she has only played six matches since March. The world number 13 may be a little bit rusty to begin with, which can play into Inglis' hands, but I think she will grow into the contest and her quality, as well as her vast experience should shine through.
I'm backing her to win in three sets.
