Tennis Betting Tips: Three selections for Monday

With Wimbledon done and dusted for another year, we must get our tennis fix from elsewhere. Monday brings in a new week and there are several events taking place across both the ATP and WTA Tours.

I've picked out three selections I think are some of the best bets of the day. You will find my Tennis Betting Tips below.

Set Betting - Diane Parry to beat Tara Wuerth 2-1 @ 11/4

A first career meeting awaits Tara Wuerth and Diane Parry on Monday in Hamburg, and Parry is the clear favourite.

She showed her quality at Wimbledon by reaching the third round as a qualifier, and this is likely to have boosted her confidence. The 2025 season has been inconsistent for her, but she has a good game for clay and it may prove to be too much for her opponent.

Wuerth is less experienced and plays an aggressive brand of tennis. She is seeking consistency herself and has been guilty for making mistakes. Parry's own inconsistency may open the door for Wuerth to claim a set but I still think Parry comes out on top.

Set Betting - Luciano Darderi to beat Raphael Collignon 2-0 @ 6/5

Over in the Nordea Open, Luciano Darderi clashes with Raphael Collignon in what is also a first-ever meeting on court. This is an interesting match up because both players have demonstrated their skills on clay and their CVs can back it up.

Darderi comes in as the favourite thanks to his stable rise on the ATP Tour this season, claiming his second title in Marrakech, as well as posting 16 victories from 27 matches on this surface. This is his first appearance since exiting Wimbledon at the third round but this shouldn't cause any problems.

Collignon won the Monza Challenger in April and reached a further two quarter-finals in four tournaments played since on clay. He may be able to cause the Italian some problems.

With the progress Darderi has made this year, I think he will come away with the victory, and I believe he can get it done in straight sets.

Match Betting - Ana Bogdan to beat Varvara Gracheva @ 15/8

My selections for the day are rounded off at the Iasi Open, where Ana Bogdan clashes with Varvara Gracheva.

Bogdan is a two-time champion here (2022 and 2023) and she has strong clay pedigree. She will look to venture far in this tournament again and she certainly has the skillset and experience to make that happen.

Gracheva, while possessing a lot of power, is not as solid on slow surfaces and she has not accomplished much of late. She does, however, have the better of their head-to-head record - with three victories to Bogdan's one. This could be a factor on Monday but I doubt it will impact proceedings much.

Bogdan’s familiarity with the venue and tactical defence should see her control the match. She'll also have the backing of the home crowd which can always help a player reach another level with their game. All these variables combined make her 15/8 price look very attractive.
