Tennis Betting Tips: Three picks to extend Jonny’s hot-streak?

After landing three winners on Tuesday, we were so close to another clean sweep yesterday, as we just needed Tommy Paul to win a set in his defeat to Carlos Alcaraz, but two-out-of-three isn't too bad - let's see if we can extend our good form here.
My tennis betting tips for Friday will once again will focus on the action at the Paris Olympics as well as the ATP Washington quarter-finals.
Tennis Betting Tips - Friday, August 2
Set Betting - Carlos Alcaraz to beat Felix Auger-Aliassime 2-0 @ 1/2
Not many expected Felix Auger-Aliassime to reach this stage at the Olympics, and truth be told, I'm expecting his journey in Paris to come an end here.
The Canadian is 3-3 against Carlos Alcaraz, however all three wins came in 2021 and 2022. Since then, Alcaraz has upped his game to another level and it shows - the last three meetings have been dominated by the Spaniard.
The pair met at Roland Garros earlier this year, in which Alcaraz won in straight sets, which probably serves as a preview for this encounter. A win for Auger-Aliassime over Alcaraz on clay would be his best achievement to date, but Alcaraz's all-round game is just too strong in my opinion.
Set Betting - Novak Djokovic to beat Lorenzo Musetti 2-0 @ 6/5
Novak Djokovic and Lorenzo Musetti have met three times this year, and the 24-time Grand Slam champion has won all three encounters.
Two of these clashes were in the past two months at Roland Garros and Wimbledon, and Musetti pushed Djokovic all the way in Paris, with the Serbian eventually coming out on top in five sets.
Djokovic doesn't look to be 100 per cent and there remains concerns around a potential knee injury, but the reality is that he's into the semi-finals without dropping a set.
Musetti is in the form of his life and he'll be feeling confident of causing an upset after defeating Alexander Zverev in the previous round, however, it feels inevitable that Djokovic will get the chance to compete for the gold medal.
Match Betting - Ben Shelton to beat Denis Shapovalov @ 4/7
Heading over to ATP Washington for the final selection, and I'm picking Ben Shelton to defeat Denis Shapovalov.
This is a rematch after the pair's five-set thriller at Wimbledon last month, in which the American emerged victorious, and he's done enough to reach the quarter-final stage in the capital despite committing plenty of unforced errors.
Shapovalov has breezed into the last-eight stage, winning his first two matches in straight sets, before coming from a set down to defeat number 12 seed Miomir Kecmanovic.
Both men are of similar quality from the back of the court, but Shelton has the bigger and more consistent serve, which I believe will be the difference-maker here.
