Tennis Betting Tips: Ruud to ignore Norwegian

ATP Tour events in Antwerp, Almaty and Stockholm and WTA Tour competitions in Ningbo and Osaka are reaching their conclusion with quarter-final action set to take place on Friday.
There are a number of intriguing contests in store for our tennis betting tips, with some heavy-hitters in action as men’s world number nine Alex De Minaur takes to the court in Antwerp while world number eight Casper Ruud bids to lay down his title marker in Stockholm.
The women’s events are a little more low-key, although a quarter-final clash between Beatriz Haddad Maia and Paula Badosa in Ningbo should be a belter.

Gabriel Diallo to beat Alejandro Tabilo @ 1/1
Gabriel Diallo may be outside the world’s top 100 but the 23-year-old is far more capable than that ranking implies and he can showcase his talents with a quarter-final victory over Alejandro Tabilo in Almaty.
The Canadian has eased past Christopher O’Connell and Borna Coric in his opening two assignments in Kazakhstan and he should have little to fear from Tabilo, who is at his best on a slower surface.
While Diallo has won 14 of his last 18 matches, Tabilo has suffered defeat in nine of his last 11 outings and the quick conditions are certainly more favourable for the Canadian.
The Chilean is the world number 23 but that is an inflated ranking due to his success this season on clay, which saw him make the semi-final of the Italian Open.

Casper Ruud to beat Tallon Griekspoor @ 4/6
Ruud may also be at his best on a slower surface but the Norwegian can still play to an extremely high level on any terrain, which is highlighted by his runner-up effort at the US Open in 2022.
The world number eight impressed in a 6-3 7-6 victory over Lorenzo Sonego in his opening clash in Stockholm and he may have too many weapons for Tallon Griekspoor, who has lost his last two meetings against the Norwegian.
Griekspoor is playing some good stuff too but his success has limitations unlike Ruud, who is a three-time Grand Slam finalist and a 12-time ATP Tour champion.

Daria Kasatkina to beat Yulia Putintseva @ 6/5
This promises to be a high-quality quarter-final encounter in Ningbo, but there are reasons to believe that Daria Kasatkina should be favourite to get the better of Yulia Putintseva.
The world number 11 is a seven-time winner on the WTA Tour and it was only last month that she was finishing runner-up to the in-form Haddad Maia in Seoul.
Putintseva did take Aryna Sabalenka to a third and final set in Wuhan last week but she has still lost four of her last eight matches and is 21 places below her Russian opponent in the world rankings.
Kasatkina is extremely consistent, having won 15 of her last 22 matches on the WTA Tour, and she can come up with the goods in this Chinese clash.
