0.5pts each-way Jak Jones @ 25/1
Readers may recall we backed Jak Jones at the British Open, where he narrowly lost to Barry Hawkins after holding the lead, mirroring his previous close defeat to Mark Allen at the English Open semifinal.
There are no easy draws but in Xi’an Grand Prix, you would expect Jones to win his opening two matches. With his confidence growing along with his ranking points tally, a place in the Masters beckons, the elite tournament to start 2026, open to the top 16 only, and he is within touching distance.
That will bring the thirty-two-year-old Welshman maximum motivation to go deep as one final appearance will lock up his Masters debut.

0.5pts each-way Zhou Yuelong @ 33/1
After the English Open profits from the talented Chinese player Zhou Yuelong we are re-investing our profits from the runners-up finish at 66/1 on the same player.
Funnily enough, a big reason behind the selection for the English Open was his draw versus Mark Williams. Currently, in the snooker world, most of the circuit are wanting to avoid the in-form former world champion, who showed up well once again at last week's British Open. That is not the case with Yuelong, who beat Williams as we predicted, and thrives versus the veteran Welshman.
Like mentioned earlier, he fact that he is drawn to play Williams protects his outright price too, just like Craigie’s draw versus Ding.
Not only that but Yuelong has been able to enjoy a couple of weeks off after that impressive performance having not qualified for the British Open.
With the extra rest to get over his exertions at the English Open we are once again taking the quarter and outright prices on Zhou Yuelong at the Xi'an Grand Prix.

2pts Sam Craigie to beat Ding Junhui @ 21/10
We finish off with an interesting wild card round where Chinese superstar Ding Junhui plays Sam Craigie in front of his adoring fans. I will be having a good bet in this spot because there are reasons to believe the player from the Northeast of England will beat Ding and set up an opportunity for a deep run.
In 2021, before his back issues, Craigie defeated Ding at the UK Championship—Ding's preferred event—and now heads to Xi’an after a decisive win over Joe O’Connor in International Qualifying.
The plan is to have a good bet on Sam Craigie to beat Ding at Betfred and freeroll the outright bets on the article, if he wins!
