The Waratahs go with Angus Bell, Dave Porecki and Daniel Botha in the front row, with locks Miles Amatosero and Fergus Lee-Warner in the second row.

Rob Leota, Charlie Gamble and Langi Gleeson are in the back row, with a half-back combination of Jake Gordon and Tane Edmed.

Joey Walton and Henry O’Donnell start in the centres, with Triston Reilly, Andrew Kellaway and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii in the back three.

The Waratahs finished rock bottom of the Super Rugby Pacific table last season, winning just two of their 14 games.

However, the Sydney outfit have shown significant improvement this term, with five wins in their first 10 outings of the campaign.

All of those five victories have come at home, with the Tahs having a perfect winning record on their own patch this season.

On the other hand, the Reds have lost three of their last four away games and the Tahs look good value to get one over their Aussie rivals on Friday.
