Sale vs Saracens Prediction: Caluori to star in high scorer

Time is running out for Sale and Saracens if they are to clinch top-four finishes in the Gallagher Prem and neither side can afford to slip up when they meet at the CorpAcq Stadium on Sunday.
After finishing third last season before losing to Leicester Tigers in the play-off semi-finals, Sale have underwhelmed this term, triumphing in just three of their 12 games, and they realistically need to win all their remaining matches if they are to gatecrash the top four.
The picture is not quite so bleak for Sarries, who sit just a place above their hosts in sixth, but are 11 points better off and were emphatic 65-14 winners when these two sides last met at the StoneX Stadium in October.
Team News
Sale have made three changes from the side beaten by Leinster in the European Champions Cup quarter-finals last week, including back row Jos Gilmore, who is rewarded with his first Prem start after some impressive cameos from the bench.
Joe Carpenter injured his groin against Leinster which means it's all change in the back three. Tom Roebuck switches to full-back with Tom O’Flaherty taking his place on the right wing and Alex Wills operating on the left.
Saracens hand a first Prem start of 2026 to Olly Hartley following some eye-catching displays in cup competitions, while Max Malins starts at full-back, replacing the injured Elliot Daly.
There are also places in the starting XV for Ben Earl at openside flanker and Theo McFarland at blindside flanker.
Sale are 21/10 to keep their play-off hopes alive by registering a victory, but Sarries are favourites to come out on top at 4/9. The draw is available at 16/1.
The three-way handicap has been set at seven, with Saracens priced at 20/21 to cover that deficit and Sale 10/11 to win with a converted-try start.
Over 65.5 points @ 13/8
Saracens boast one of the best attacking units in the Prem and the statistics back that up, as heading into round 13 of the season they were leading the way when it comes to offloads (158) and defenders beaten (413).
Only the top two in the division, Northampton Saints and Bath, have scored more points than Mark McCall's side's total of 415, while they also rank third when it comes to tries scored (60).
Sale are nowhere near as prolific but have still managed 45 tries for the season, while there has been a minimum of 57 points scored in two of their last three Prem games.
Two of the last three meetings between this pair have gone over the 64.5-point mark and that trend can continue on Sunday.

Noah Caluori anytime tryscorer @ 4/6
One of the reasons why Saracens have been so potent in the final third is the form of wing Noah Caluori, who went into the weekend leading the Prem tryscoring charts with 12.
That tally is boosted handsomely by the five he scored in October's home win over Sale and the Sharks will not be relishing the prospect of coming up against the highly rated 19-year-old once again.
Caluori also ran in four tries in his last Prem appearance against Newcastle Red Bulls, as well as crossing the whitewash in Sarries’ last game - a narrow 31-22 loss to Bath in the Champions Cup at the start of the month.
