As for the visitors, the Hurricanes go with Xavier Numia, Jacob Devery and Tevita Mafile'o in the front row, with Isaia Walker-Leawere and Caleb Delany in the engine room.
Brad Shields, Brayden Iose and Du'Plessis Kirifi complete the Hurricanes pack, with Cam Roigard and Harry Godfrey in the half-backs.
Peter Umaga-Jensen and Bailyn Sullivan line up in the centres, with a back three made up of Fehi Fineanganofo, Kini Naholo and Callum Harkin.
Crusaders -6 @ 5/4
While the Hurricanes have won their last two encounters with the Crusaders, the Wellington outfit have seen some big names move on since last season.
Back-rower Ardie Savea joined Fijian Drua, while scrum-half TJ Perenara and centre Jordie Barrett have also moved on to pastures new.
Those All Blacks stars who have a wealth of experience that is now missing from this Hurricanes side and it will take some time to adapt to their absence.
With that in mind, this more settled Crusaders side look to be good value to claim the win and cover the handicap in the process.

Will Jordan anytime tryscorer @ 20/21
One of the most prolific tryscorers in world rugby, Will Jordan catches the eye in the anytime tryscorer market for this one.
With 38 tries in 41 Tests for New Zealand, this lightning-quick full-back has caused countless defenders problems since he burst on to the scene.
Scoring 38 tries in 53 appearances for the Crusaders, it would be little surprise to see Jordan touch down at least once against the Hurricanes in this 2025 Super Rugby Pacific opener.
