Bath are the 1/8 favourites to claim the victory on home turf on Saturday, while Saracens are 5/1 to cause a major upset in Somerset.
A draw at The Rec is available at 22/1, while the hosts are 4.5 to win the first half when giving away a 7.5 point start.
Saracens certainly won’t have fond memories of their last visit to this corner of the country, following their 62-15 mauling at the hands of Bath in the Gallagher Prem last month.
Leading 10-0 after the first 13 minutes, Saracens seemed to have poked the bear that was Bath, who responded with three unanswered tries to go on and lead 31-15 at half-time.
The Black, Blue & Whites never looked back and a 31-0 scoreline in the second 40 just emphasised their dominance.
Spencer and Russell dictated the game that day and their marshalling of the troops will again be vital in this Champions Cup clash.
Sarries have disappointed since the resumption of the Gallagher Prem following the Six Nations, with that heavy defeat to Bath followed by a 21-17 home loss to Northampton Saints last weekend.
It’s hard to see this Saracens side making the improvements needed to take down Bath on their own patch this weekend and with Spencer and Russell pulling the strings, and the likes of Arundell and Cokanasiga in the wide channels, the Blue, Black & Whites to get the points to cover the handicap gets the nod in this Saturday showdown.
