Rock-bottom Huddersfield's latest attempt at a Betfred Super League win comes at home this Friday night against a Bradford Bulls side sitting just one place above them (8pm BST, live on Sky Sports+).

The Bulls conceded a half century against rampant Leeds at Magic Weekend while Huddersfield's loss to York left them six points adrift at the basement.

Huddersfield are in a desperate position after that loss at Magic and if they are to have any chance of finishing any higher than bottom then they will have to win games like this.

The Giants' boss Jim Lenihan makes just two changes and both are enforced. Injury rules out Asher O'Donnell (leg) and Chris Patolo - who failed a Head Injury Assessment.

But the good news is a return to action for Sam Hewitt along with international forward George King.

The Bulls make three changes after that humbling loss to Leeds.

Imposing forward Loghan Lewis returns in a big boost, with Zac Fulton and Will Gardiner also returning. The men to make way are the injured Leon Ruan plus Alfie Leake and Cameron Bate.

Having sided with Huddersfield again last week to grab just a third win all year, it was another day of realisation as to just how bad this Giants team is. Given the players in that team it makes little sense, and although the season may be done and dusted for them already, I still feel there can be an upturn.

Bradford were completely outclassed by Leeds, so this actually could be a tricky one to call.

The Bulls won the first meeting this year 26-14 at Odsal and will fancy doing the double. In winger Ethan Ryan they have a brilliant finisher, and the creative spark of Jayden Nikorima in the halves is always going to create chances.

I feel I am running out of reasons for a Giants win. They keep making me look silly by talking them up. They scored four tries at Magic yet conceded seven to lose to York, and that defence is something Bradford will be hungry to exploit.

The handicap is only two points, with the Giants starting marginal favourites. I feel like I'm almost going to guarantee that Huddersfield finally get the win by backing the Bulls.
