Dolphins vs Warriors Prediction: Eight straight on the cards for Dolphins

Saturday’s NRL Premiership action begins at Suncorp Stadium, where the Dolphins host the New Zealand Warriors in what could be a classic third-versus-second match-up (3pm local, 6am BST, Sky Sports Action).
The Fins are on a seven-match winning streak, while the Wahs were back in the winners’ circle last week when they beat the Cowboys. Read on for my Dolphins vs Warriors predictions, the latest team news and Betfred’s match odds.

The Wahs might be second in the table just now, but they’re not backed to come out on top here. They’re 15/8 with Betfred for the win.
Thanks to their stunning run of form, Kristian Woolf’s side are the 4/9 favourites to earn the two competition points and go level with their visitors on the ladder.
It’s a 18/1 chance that the game goes into golden-point extra-time.
Team News
Woolf can call upon Isaiya Katoa, who has recovered from a knee injury, and Queensland reps Max Plath, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Selwyn Cobbo and Tom Flegler.
Tom Gilbert is missing with a mouth injury, while Trai Fuller and Teevita Naufahu are left out to allow for their senior players to return. Brad Schneider, Felise Kaufusi and Oryn Keeley step down to the bench.
Kulikefu Finefeuiaki moves into the back row in a straight swap with Keeley.
Kurt Capewell returns to the back row for the Warriors, so Marata Niukore moves down to the bench.
Sam Healey is back as a hooking option but starts off the bench, while Tanner Stowers-Smith is an interchange option as Jackon Ford returns to the starting XIII following a pec issue.
Dolphins by 13+ @ 6/4
While their home and away stats haven’t been so different this year – they’re 6-2 at Mount Smart and 4-2 on the road – the Warriors just don’t look as daunting a prospect when they’re on their travels.
Now they come up against a red-hot Dolphins side who have somehow improved on their mid-season run of last year when they won six of eight and scored an average of 45 points per victory.
There ought to be a real momentum about the Redcliffe side here, so I can’t see anything other than a sizeable Fins success once more. They’re the best team in the comp right now and it’s not even close.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow Anytime Tryscorer @ 4/5
‘The Hammer’ is back after a triumphant couple of weeks away with the Maroons, and his tries in both Origin fixtures so far mean he has four to his name in his last four matches.
I see him as great value for another anytime try against a Warriors outfit who can be leaky on the edges when stretched. The 4/5 price implies a 55.6% probability of this one, but I still think that’s low given Tabuai-Fidow’s excellent form.
