In only their second season in the NRL, the Dolphins are now firmly in the hunt for the play-offs, and they will fancy their chances of moving up the ladder when they host the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday (07:05 BST).

The Dragons have won nine of their 17 games to sit seventh in the standings, but they are only two points off the top four heading into this weekend's fixtures. On the other hand, the Titans are playing for pride in 15th, and they will look to cause problems against a Dolphins defence who have let their guard down of late.

Team News

Dolphins coach Wayne Bennett has named the same 17-man squad who pushed the Penrith Panthers all the way last week before they lost 28-26 in overtime.

Sean O'Sullivan has been named 18th man, while Oryn Keeley has also been picked as one of the two reserves.

Titans boss Des Hasler has stuck with the same 17 who lost 38-8 to the Manly Sea Eagles, with AJ Brimson still sidelined with a groin injury.

Tanah Boyd and Joe Stimson remain on the reserves list going into Sunday's battle at Suncorp Stadium.

Dolphins vs Gold Coast Titans Odds

Dolphins -6 @ 20/1

The Dolphins have built up some momentum in recent weeks, and they know they can get the better of the Titans, having won three from three against them since they entered the league.

Bennett knows how to get the best out of Hasler, having won his last six games against the former Manly Sea Eagles boss.

Even though the Dragons dropped down the table after their defeat to the Panthers, their stock rose due to the manner of the performance.

Full-back Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow is in fine form, while the Dolphins forwards have been tough to contain.

The Titans have been leaking points of late, and the Dolphins should prevail at home.

Dolphins -6 handicap at 20/1 Over 53.5 points @ 10/11

While the Titans' play-off hopes are all but over, they should have some joy on Sunday.

Winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira has been in fine form, scoring seven tries in his last four appearances, while the Dolphins have conceded 26 points or more in their last six games.

The Titans scored only eight points last week, but they put up at least 20 points against the Parramatta Eels, Cronulla Sharks and New Zealand Warriors, so there's every chance this game will provide plenty of entertainment for the neutral.
