Next US President Odds: Trump has the edge going into election day

The US election is just 24 hours away and there's little splitting Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris according to the latest odds at Betfred.
Our man Peter Spencer is on-hand with all the latest before they head to the polls across the pond.
Donald Trump remains the narrow favourite at Betfred to win Tuesday's US election.
The former president is 8/11 to make a dramatic return to the White House.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
But the controversial Republican's rival Kamala Harris, the current vice president, is closing fast.
She's now 6/5 at Betfred, who have taken a record amount of money on a political market.
Betfred spokesperson Peter Spencer said: "It's all tightened up over the last few days as the momentum shifts towards Harris.
"It should be a very close one, and it is not inconceivable that Harris goes favourite at some point.
"We are on course to take well over a million pounds in turnover which proves there is a huge appetite for political punting on both sides of the pond."
Key swing-state polling still shows an edge towards Trump, but it is close and within the margin of error.
Harris is going big on celebrity endorsements and that strategy is showing signs of working as she has edged ahead in four of the seven swing states - namely Nevada, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Georgia.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
But polls suggest Trump is leading the way in Arizona and it's currently too tight to call in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
All eyes are now on traditionally-Republican Iowa, where a new poll has Harris ahead.
Spencer added: "Iowa used to be a swing state but is not considered as such now, with Harris not even campaigning there as it is not until now seen as in-play. That poll has shocked a few for sure.
"If the poll is accurate then it is likely women voters who are behind the surge for Harris... and that bodes well for her in places like Wisconsin."
A suspected close race means it could be several days before there's a final decision from the American people on who will be its 47th president.
