Nifty 50 Big Winner: Customer wins £60k from £1

A Betfred punter has won £60,000 on our exclusive numbers game Nifty 50 Lotto just a few days after heartbreakingly missing out on the same amount in the same game.

Jose Alphonse staked £1 on numbers 14, 18, 20, 21 and 25 on the seven-ball draw on Friday, February 6 and was delighted to see them drawn out in the day's third draw.

Incredibly, just a couple of weeks earlier, he had missed out on the same amount when his other numbers, 3, 7, 26, 29 and 50 fell from the drum, but he had not played.

Jose, who lives near Wembley, London, said "I couldn’t believe it. The other numbers were my wife’s and mine, and people told me that I had missed my chance, but I believe that there is God and this is his work. I believed my luck would come and this is the proof.
